The Lucra L148 is a supercar made by California-based automaker Lucra Cars.
Description[]
Viewed by many as a successor of the Lucra LC470 which debuted in 2013, the Lucra L148 is a road-legal supercar unveiled in 2014.
The L148 has a carbon fiber constructed body mounted on a tubular chromoly steel chassis. The car is powered by a front/mid-mounted 4.7 liter GM LS7 V8 engine sourced from Chevrolet, which produces over 700 hp (though this is just a figure claimed by Lucra, with the real hp suspected to be somewhere around 500).
The L148 also uses a Mercedes-built 7-speed paddle-shift transmission.
As a road-legal car, the Lucra L148 also comes equipped with air-conditioning, satellite radio, and GPS navigation.
Asphalt 8: Airborne[]

Performance[]
Prior to the Fast Lane Update the Lucra L148 featured decent acceleration, top speed, handling/drifting and nitro efficiency. With the rebalancing of the Tuning Kit boost and distribution of top speed and nitro from v4.1 onwards, the Lucra L148's acceleration has been noticeably reduced.
Usage[]
Despite its all-rounded and decent stats, the Lucra L148 does not excel at anything in particular and has no apparent use. It is unsuitable for Heat Cups for obtaining the top 500 positions as it is overshadowed by many better Class A cars like the McLaren Mercedes MP4-25, BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage and Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport.
Adding on to that, this car is also unsuitable for Multiplayer use owing to its high starting rank of 1400. At every possible configuration, the Lucra L148 is overshadowed by far better Multiplayer cars like the 2016 Camaro, BMW Hommage and MP4-25 (the latter two from rank 1600 onwards).
The Lucra L148 also does not have any good farming races in Mastery or Season 9, but is one of the four cars used in the "Next-Level Racing" Tag Race, set in Tokyo Reverse, used alongside the Rimac Concept One, Volkswagen W12 and Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG.
Price & Availability[]
The Lucra L148 had an original price 400,000 that was later increased to 2,725.
Prior to the Lunar New Year 2017 Update, the Lucra L148 had always been available for purchase after its pre-release cups. It was changed into a time-limited car between February 26 and March 4, 2017.
The L148 was converted into a Blueprint car during the Motorcycles Update and can only be assembled after collecting 35 of its Common-rarity Blueprints. Assembling the L148 takes 2 hours and 30 minutes but can be skipped for up to 214.
The Lucra L148's BP cards, along with the DS 3 Racing's, were given out as a Daily Bonus reward if the player logged in for at least 28 days in September 2017. They were given out again as a Daily Bonus reward if the player logged in for at least 25 days in August 2018.
As of the 2019 Halloween Update, the car no longer requires Blueprints to be assembled, and has a full purchase price of 1,500.
