The Maserati MC12 is a supercar made by Maserati that appears in the Asphalt series. The Maserati MC12 and the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari share the same chassis and engine.
Overview
The Maserati MC12 is based on the Enzo Ferrari chassis. This was in 2004, when Ferrari still owned Maserati. Ferrari promised to build "another Enzo", which included the FXX and the MC12. Only 50 MC12's have ever been produced with 25 being released in 2004 and another 25 in 2005, mainly to enable Maserati to enter the FIA GT Championship. The Maserati MC12 and the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione use an Enzo Ferrari chassis and engine. It is unknown whether Maserati is planning a replacement for the Maserati MC12. The Enzo Ferrari's replacement is called the Ferrari LaFerrari and the car is in production now. A successor would most likely share the same chassis and engine.
The Maserati MC12 uses a 6.0L naturally aspirated V12 engine derived from the Enzo Ferrari, at 630 PS (620 bhp). It is claimed to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) within 3.8 seconds and on to 200 km/h (124 mph) at almost 10 seconds. It has a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h), lower than the Enzo Ferrari's 217 mph (350 km/h).
Asphalt 8: Airborne
Introduced in the San Diego Harbor update, the Maserati MC12 is one of two Maserati vehicles in Asphalt 8, alongside the Maserati GranTurismo Sport. Out of the two, the MC12 is the only one that is a Premium vehicle.
While the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG has a starting rank of 1381 and the Maserati MC12 has a starting rank of 1382 (same as the Chevrolet Corvette C7 from Class A), both cars have the same maximum rank (1518). The Maserati MC12 is currently one of the most powerful cars in Class B. The Maserati MC12 features a very high top speed and great handling, as well as a long nitro duration, which helps acceleration. If driven correctly, the MC12 can beat the CLK GTR AMG and the Corvette C7) on most tracks (especially Tokyo) due to having a better top speed and handling.
Prior to the release of the car, the Maserati MC12 was given to the top spots of each division in the time-limited Maserati MC12 Cup. This cup is notorious in that it cost 6 Fuel Points to play, meaning the player couldn't make a mistake even once; otherwise, they'd have to wait a long time just to try again.
The Maserati MC12 could be obtained alongside the Peugeot Onyx from the Pole Position Premium Pack for $25.99, although it now can be purchased individually for 
2,250. The Maserati MC12's max upgrade price is 
1,316,350.
The MC12's Season 9 race, in San Diego Harbor Rev., has a base payout of 4,945 on replay, qualifying as one of the best event for farming credits, with a great payout(only less than the Spada Codatronca TSS, 5,025/run), and very short race time(1:01:xx).
