The Mazzanti Evantra V8 is an Italian supercar by Mazzanti Automobili.
Description
The Mazzanti Evantra V8 made its debut at the Top Marques Show Monaco in 2013. In 2011 Luca Mazzanti (the company's founder), after a three years work, supported from the designer Zsolt Tarnok, presented the project "Evantra", a mid-engine coupé designed to be produced in a very limited number and highly customizable. During 2012 Mazzanti realized models in scale 1:1 and began the construction of the very first unit.
The name Evantra, as tradition of Mazzanti Automobili, derives from the Etruscan language and it combines the concepts of unity and eternity: Evantra in fact was the name by which the Etruscans called the goddess of immortality.
The Mazzanti Evantra V8 uses a 7.0L (7,011 cc) naturally aspirated aluminum Chevrolet LS7 V8 engine with power reaching 701 hp (523 kW) at 6,600 rpm and torque reaching 625 ft·lb (847 N·m) at 4,500 rpm. The engine has a compression ratio of 11:1 and is equipped with a dry-sump lubrication system, titanium valves, and connecting rods. The Evantra is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Evantra is capable of 0-60 mph within 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
The car is produced on commission, with 5 units annually.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The Mazzanti Evantra was added in the Santa's Gift Update as a mid-range Class A car.
The Evantra's starting rank is 1498, the MAX rank 1619 (shared with the Savage Rivale GTR), and MAX+PRO rank 1700. The car gains +30 through a Tuning Kit. The Evantra rivals the Pagani Huayra, ONUK Sazan LM, and Kepler Motion.
The Mazzanti Evantra's acceleration at best tends to be decent for its class. Oddly having the same max rank of the infamous Savage Rivale GTR, the Evantra's top speed is decent at stock but doesn't increase by much when upgraded, which becomes a serious threat to the car, as it can be outperformed by cars like the TVR Sagaris, Falcon F7, Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the McLaren P1, and even the Lotus Evora Sport 410. The drifting capabilities of this car aren't the best, albeit not the worst either; it can be described as average. The nitro isn't too shabby either, probably because the car relies on it evidenced by its lackluster top speed; its nitro efficiency is rated as 8/13/18.
With a purchase price of 250,000, overall, the Mazzanti Evantra is a novelty car, due to the fact that it relies on its large nitro boost to keep up with better, more competitive cars like the Falcon F7 and Savage Rivale GTR. Additionally, it does not appear in any collections and is a poor choice both for time limited events and Multiplayer. The Evantra is one of the Enduro Cars in the BXR Bailey Blade GT1's Enduro Double Down event, the details of which are on this page. As of the Munich Update, it is also required to complete Season 8 as it has replaced the RUF RT 12 S in Career Mode.
As of August 14, 2017, the Evantra is now more easily accessible with a price of 900,000 or 3,250.
As of March 24, 2018, the Evantra is now priced at 250,000.
As of the 2019 Spring Update, upgrades cost 1,435,000 while Pro Kits require 477,600, 18 of each Class A Part, 28 V8 Engines, 12 Early & Initial Techs each, 24 Mid-Techs, and 12 Advanced Techs.
