The McLaren 600LT Spider is the convertible version of the McLaren 600LT supercar.
Description[]
In January 2019, McLaren unveiled the convertible variant of the 600LT at the Detroit Auto Show. Due to the use of the same carbon monocoque as the other models in the 570S lineage the 600LT Spider required did not need any extra modifications to incorporate a folding hardtop roof. As a result, the Spider weighs 50 kg (110 lb) more than the coupé while maintaining the same performance statistics. The Spider has the same engine and aerodynamic components as the coupé and share the roof folding mechanism with the standard 570S Spider which can be operated at speeds up to 40 km/h (25 mph).
The car can accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 8.4 seconds (0.2 seconds more than the coupé) and can attain a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph) with the roof retracted and 323 km/h (201 mph) with the roof closed.
The car can achieve a dry weight of 1,297 kg (2,859 lb) when equipped with the MSO ClubSport package which includes the removal of air-conditioning and radio, titanium wheel nuts and the replacement of the standard seats with the carbon fibre seats from the Senna. The car is the fifth McLaren model to have the Long Tail name.
Asphalt 9: Legends[]
The McLaren 600LT Spider was added in the City of Lights Update as a high Class B car with following rank stats:
- Stock rank: 2,393 (
45)
rank: 2,624
rank: 2,953 (

rank: 3,247 (

rank: 3,669 (

rank: 4,075 (

Performance[]
The McLaren 600LT Spider has average stock performance, with a low top speed of exactly 324, decent acceleration (73.90), and below-average nitro (42.18). While having a decent floaty and moderate drifting, its average handling means it'll lose a considerable amount of speed when turning or driving on rough terrain. It's low top speed for class B, in addition to its low nitro efficiency causing it to take a long time to reach top-speed, puts it at the mercy of other cars with better speed or acceleration. The 600LT also has an inability to wallride properly due to having a big hitbox, making it more prone to scrapping a wall even if the car isn't close to it.
The 600LT has a high upgrade scalability, significantly improving the car's stats at . When at or near MAX, the 600LT Spider has one of the best handling and acceleration stats, giving it strong starts in races and quick corner exit speeds, while its vastly improved drifting and handling allows it to go through corners much more easily, reducing the risk of scrapping a wall and minimizing the amount of speed loss on turns or rough terrain. It's top speed however still remains low for a high B class car, but it's nitro efficiency, while not perfect nitro boosted, gives it a higher speed boost (+21 km/h) than any other car in its class (+14km/h) speed boost (any type).
In Multiplayer World Series, the McLaren 600LT Spider is unlocked for use once the player reaches Gold League. The 600LT Spider's acceleration makes it very competitive against other higher-ranked Class B cars, such as the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder and Porsche Carrera GT, as it can pull ahead of them at the start of the race and around corners. Even in Platinum League, where its low top speed puts it at a disadvantage against nearly all Class A cars, the 600LT Spider can still keep up with many of them around corners, while also recovering quickly in the event of a knockdown due to its sheer acceleration, making it suitable for farming milestone rewards.
Availability[]
It was initially only available through its own Unleashed Event. Its blueprints were featured in four of the Asphalt Legends Unite Tour series of TLE's, allowing players to earn 40.
Asphalt 8: Airborne[]
The McLaren 600LT Spider was added in the 2024 Halloween Update as a high Class S car with the following statistics:
- Starting Rank: 1303
- PRO Rank: 1860 (+557)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +55
- Nitro Efficiency: ?/?/?
Performance & Usage[]
The McLaren 600LT Spider's performance is based on the base model, the McLaren 600LT, but with wide drift radius and a slightly better nitro efficiency. Due to this, in Multiplayer and Events, it will struggle on technical tracks, such as Dubai, San Diego Harbor, Sector 8.
