The Mercedes-Benz Biome is an electric concept car that appears in the Asphalt series. It first appeared in Asphalt 8: Airborne as a Class B car. The Mercedes-Benz Biome and the CLK GTR AMG are the only class B cars that are made by Mercedes-Benz.
Overview
The Mercedes-Benz Biome is an electric concept car created by Mercedes-Benz in 2010. This car is unique in that it is grown in a laboratory rather than at a factory line. It is also powered by Bio Nectar 4534 fuel. The Mercedes-Benz Biome are one of the future cars with the Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
Added in the Dubai update, the Mercedes-Benz Biome is one of the three electric cars by Mercedes-Benz, with the others being the SLS AMG Electric Drive and Silver Lightning.
The Biome starts with a rank of 1192 (same as the Jaguar F-Type R in Class C), has a maximum rank of 1486 (between the Ferrari 458 Italia's 1484 and Ferrari 599XX's 1490), and a final rank of 1590. With 57 points added using a Tuning Kit, the Mercedes-Benz Biome becomes one of the most powerful Class B cars in the game.
The Mercedes-Benz Biome is a very fast car for its rank, with no exploitable weaknesses. Its top speed is high, which helps it if it runs out of Nitro. The Biome's acceleration is one of the fastest in its class, and it's helped by the Biome being considered an electric car in-game, said acceleration being consistently powerful and continuous due to a lack of gears. While this car's Nitro is weak, it's very efficient - within Class B, only the DS Survolt's is as efficient. The Biome's biggest advantage is having the most responsive handling in the game thanks to being the lightest car in it. A skilled driver can take advantage of this car's handling to take any turn, no matter how difficult, without drifting, something no other car is capable of.
The Mercedes-Benz Biome's only disadvantage is that, thanks to its very responsive handling, it's very prone to suddenly losing control, skidding into a wall and wrecking. This behaviour can be countered by drifting into the opposite direction this car is skidding to, but this requires practice.
The Mercedes-Benz Biome is one of the best cars for multiplayer - its long-lasting Nitro, responsive handling, high performance boost provided by a Tuning Kit and a somewhat low final rank turn the Biome into a car that is one of the fastest at practically any rank bracket it may be in (It is particularly effective between 1400 and 1500). The only cars that can consistently compete with the Mercedes-Benz Biome in multiplayer (Although in different rank brackets) are the DS Survolt, the ONUK Sazan LM and the strictly superior Shelby Cobra 427, although the latter's rarity means the Biome user should not be worried about coming across one very often.
At 450,000 (same as the Ferrari FF from Class A), the Biome is one of the most expensive Class B cars in the game available for purchase by credits (and the most expensive Mercedes-Benz vehicle in the game, excluding the Premium car Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupé Final Edition). The Biome also costs 1,276,425 to max out.
The Biome qualifies for its own race in Season 7, which is the final race of Season 7 itself. It also qualifies for the two Mercedes-Benz events in the game, both of which are also in Season 7 but appear earlier than the Biome's event. Its Season 9 event, set in Dubai, is one of the best farming events in the game.
