The W204 Mercedes-Benz C Class DTM is a DTM-championship touring car based on the W204 C-Class.
Overview[]
Like all racing cars in the DTM it is based on the C-Class W203 DTM and looked like the eponymous series cars. The prototype was constructed on a CFK-monocoque chassis with an integrated 15.4-imperial gallons fuel tank. Since refuelling at this time was still allowed in the race, a 26.4-imperial gallons tank was not built as from 2012. The C-Class W204 DTM is powered by a 4,000 cc (4.0 L; 244.1 cu in) Mercedes-Benz naturally-aspirated V8 engine, power output approximately 476 hp (355 kW; 483 PS) and maximum torque approximately 490 N⋅m (361 lbf⋅ft). The rear-wheel drive C-Class DTM also has a sequential 6-speed sports transmission, a 3-plate carbon fiber clutch supplied by Sandtler (2007-2010), then ZF (2011) and an adjustable multi-disc limited-slip differential.
Asphalt 6: Adrenaline[]
Shortened just to Mercedes DTM, the Mercedes-Benz C Class DTM rivals the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG, Ducati 1198 and Ferrari 458 Italia.
Compared to the aforementioned vehicles, the C-Class DTM has the advantage of having the highest nitro speed. It also has fast acceleration, but is not a viable option against the Ferrari 599 GTO. As such, the C-Class DTM can only compete up to the 599 GTO, but has an extraordinary capability of outmaneuvering even some of the best vehicles in the game.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class DTM can basically be described as an upgraded Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG with a faster acceleration and a faster nitro speed.
