At the time, Guinness World Records claimed the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG as the most expensive production car ever built, priced at $1,547,620. This car's doors open upwards like butterfly doors instead of the doors being hinged to the front. Although it has "CLK" in its name, shared with the Mercedes coupe of the same name, the only part it shared with that car was the headlights. A total of 25 cars were built.

Prior to the 2019 Spring Update, the CLK GTR was a nitro-biased car, gaining more speed with nitro than in raw speed. It had a maximum total speed of 262.7 mph/423.0 km/h and was otherwise above-average in performance.
The Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG made its debut as a playable car in the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG Cup, given out to the top 20 players. It is currently available for purchase in the garage.

  +
The CLK GTR's closest rival was the Maserati MC12, which featured higher raw and total speeds and better nitro efficiency.
The Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG has the third highest maximum rank of any Class B car, shared with the Maserati MC12 (1518), even though their starting ranks differ (CLK GTR AMG has 1381, same as the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 2013; MC12 has 1382) and behind the Spada Codatronca TSS, at 1519, and the Arrinera Hussarya and Rimac Concept One, both at 1547. However, with a Pro Kit, the CLK GTR AMG is tied with the Ferrari 599XX for the third most powerful Class B vehicle in the game, with a rank of 1611 (same value as the maximum rank of the P1 and Jaguar C-X75). The CLK GTR AMG features a fast acceleration and a powerful, long-lasting nitro, although not as efficient as the MC12. The CLK GTR AMG also features decent handling and a good top speed.

Usage
The Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG costs 375,000 to purchase (same as the Koenigsegg Agera R from Class S) and 1,196,550 to max out (same as the Spada Codatronca TSS).
