Trivia
- The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupé Final Edition is one of the few final production Mercedes-Benz SLS AMGs.
- As of the San Diego Harbor update, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupé Final Edition, SSC Tuatara, and Chrysler ME412 are the only cars in Asphalt 8 that were added at some point in the game's lifetime yet still do not have a non-Season 9 event in the Career mode (not counting the races in Season 7 where only Mercedes-Benz vehicles can be used).
- After the end of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG's production, the SLS AMG is replaced with the Mercedes-AMG GT. The differences between the SLS AMG and the AMG GT are:
- The AMG GT is more compact and it has a curved roofline that extends gently to the tail and it is shorter than the SLS AMG by its wheelbase and its height is slightly taller than the SLS AMG.
- The AMG GT's doors is used as normal doors, replacing the gull-wing doors. Its front end has the curved air intakes and grille, and the powerdomes on the hood recall the iconic 300SL.
- Strange enough, its Fire Opal color is marked as unofficial in the game. In real life, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupé Final Edition can come in that color aside from the official Iridium Silver.
- The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupé Final Edition's competitors are the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 2013, Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren 12C Spider and the Audi R8 GT. Therefore, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupé Final Edition is considered as a supercar.
- It's best to use a Chevrolet Corvette C7 or Marussia B2 instead of Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupe Final Edition in Rookie Class A cup.
