I've drafted a petition with some players in the Asphalt Community regarding some issues we'd like Gameloft to address in Asphalt 8, and was wondering if you'd like to get in on this before it gets published on Change.org!
I only need the full screenshot to see if it's a generic or special box icon and to get the exact description text. I'll do the cropping myself then (which wasn't necessary in this case because the box uses the generic engine box icon).
Normally I also need the box info screen, but in this case it's clear that the content is 100 % legendary.
my sorrow is deeper than Aunt Jessies drawer: I do have such a phone, but it's my beloved BlackBerry 10 OS device—which GL stopped supporting a long time ago.
But your work cannot be appreciated enough because it hopefully puts an end to the hearsays you (and many else) were sick and tired of.
Speaking of hearsays: I have a project with a similar intention running in the background. I'm currently tracking the content of each and every box I open to finally find solutions for the following questions:
Is the content of a box fixed when it is bought? Done. No, because the content of the Exclusive Box I won during the Fifth Anniversary event changed when they added the V12 MPI Engine, although the box stayed unopened in my pending boxes list the whole time. Card amount increased from 142 to 144 cards.
Do the cards offered in Exclusive Deals influence the drop rates of opened boxes? This was a theory of mine, but so far it seems that I was wrong. Although there seem to be certain streaks of blueprints that appear more often during certain periods of time, but apparently not connected to Exclusive Deals.
Does it influence the drop rates of cards if you already have some of them in your inventory? As for parts, I can clearly say no. I've been constantly clearing my inventory of all class D and B cards for two weeks now, but they keep coming. As for engines, it's a bit more difficult, because I have a few of almost every engine in my inventory.
I can understand if they continue their practice to not drop BPs that are rewarded during an event in an update (for example, the Egoista BPs which were granted by the Snowflurry Festival). But I didn't pay attention to HOW MANY BPs they are actually withholding!
I usualy don't hit the "Get BPs" button because they are always to expensive, but it's a good way to see if it's worth opening BP boxes at all. Which it is not, because I didn't get a single of your mentioned BPs from any box lately.
Alright I hate to mention specific names but can you please remind someone called McLaren P1 Boy not to simply revert my edits? I was only adding even the most trivial matters like the first thing in N updates and he reverted them and saying that's unnecessary. I mean for fuck's sake these things are trivial too and he dare to call them unnecessary. If he does that again I feel like wanting to be admin and temporary lock the pages after i edit them -_-
To be honest, when I was new to this site, I found it very interesting to read the "first to..." sections on some pages as it gave me an impression of the development of the game.
@ McLarenP1 Boy: I noticed when you deleted some of them the first time because you left a comment, and when you, NgKQ weren't quite amused when you added them again with a comment.
Let's see it as a kind of statistic observation for those interested, although we may personally not find it useful for our gameplay. Think twice if it adds some value to an article when you post it, but think three times if it isn't just a personal view before you delete it.
And WTF I didn't expect him to see it just stfu I know what I'm doing don't try to stop me. I hate to argue here so if you'll tell me to stop and revert again I'll definitely take another action on you. Like this one admin said this is also statistical and there's no point for you calling it unnecessary :P
Hm... I think your comment was just deleted along with several others. I haven't searched the deletion logs, but it also happened to me one day when an argue was deleted and my comment with it. Don't take it personally, neither did I.
Hi, I was just wondering where things are with updates after the FLU. For example, the Lykan HyperSport needs 16 F6 Englinges, according to the article, but I think, since it needs 1 for tires, 1 for suspension, etc. to get level 1, it probably needs more than 16. Does everything on the wiki need to slowly be updated? If so, I will just update the info if I find it. Otherwise, are we waiting to see if the FLU changes are permanent? Or have we given up altogether?
generally we document changes even if they only last for one update (see the changed multiplayer matchmaking for one season). So yes, it you can find the data, go ahead. The problem is: As most of us have already upgraded many cars, we don't know the first pro levels. So we can only add information for one level.
An exception was the Lotus Evora Sport 410 which I didn't have, so I could add all pro kit levels while participating in its R&D recently. (I only upgraded tyres and drivetrain, but as the requirements for suspension and exhaust are usually the same, except for Early/Initial Tech, I could deduce the missing numbers).
No, I wish I knew how to do that. I think most of that type of data extraction requires "unofficial" versions of the game, and software like Cheat Engine. If the game remains alive for a while, I might look into it more. And yeah, I will check out how to document past vs present upgrade requirements. Thanks! If I find any data, I'll be sure to post it.
