The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is a sports sedan by Mitsubishi, and the last model of the Lancer Evolution lineup.
Description
The Lancer Evolution X sedan features a newly designed 4B11T 2.0L (1,998 cc) turbocharged, all-aluminium inline-4 GEMA engine. Power and torque depend on the market but all versions have at least 276 hp (206 kW) (JDM version). The American market version has slightly more. The UK models will be reworked by Mitsubishi UK, in accordance with previous MR Evolutions bearing the FQ badge. Options for the UK Evolutions are expected to be between 295 hp (220 kW) and 360 hp (268 kW).
Two versions of the car are offered in the U.S.: the Lancer Evolution MR, with a 6-speed Twin Clutch Sportronic Shift transmission (TC-SST). The other version is the GSR which has a 5-speed manual transmission system. The car also has a new full-time all-wheel drive system named S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control), an advanced version of Mitsubishi's AWC system used in previous generations. The S-AWC uses torque vectoring technology to send different amounts of torque to the rear wheels.
It also features Mitsubishi's new sequential semi-automatic six speed SST twin-clutch transmission with steering-mounted magnesium alloy shift paddles. It has replaced the Tiptronic automatic transmission, hence the SST version replacing the GT-A version (which was used in Evolution VII and Evolution IX Wagon). A five speed manual gearbox is also available. The new Lancer Evolution also incorporates Mitsubishi's next generation RISE safety body.
The Evolution X went on sale October 1, 2007 in Japan, January 2008 in the USA, February in Canada (as the first version of Evolution in Canada), and in March 2008 in the UK. The Twin Clutch SST version was available in Japan from November 2007. Europe followed with sales in May, with the GSR and MR versions included along with the Premium Package. The introduction of the 2010 MR-Touring moved the car even further upscale. Leather and a Moonroof became standard while revising the rear spoiler to just a lip spoiler.
In 2015, Mitsubishi ended the production of the Lancer Evolution X. A limited edition "farewell" model, the Final Edition, was produced for the Lancer's final production year, with only 1,600 models being produced for the United States market, another 1,600 for Japan, 350 for Canada, and 150 for Australia. All models are based on the GSR trim and features a black roof, black Enkei rims, and a special "Final Edition" emblem. Asphalt 9: Legends uses the Final Edition version of the car.
Asphalt Nitro
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X appears as a low Class C car with a starting rank of 870 and maximum of 1354. All of the car's performance in this game is identical to the car's Asphalt 8: Airborne rendition, as discussed below.
In the J2ME version of the game, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is the car the player begins with. Curiously, the car is placed before Nissan 370Z, despite the fact that the Lancer has better raw performance in the Android version of Asphalt Nitro.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X was added in the Car Mastery Update as a high-end Class D car with the following rank statistics:
- Starting rank: 870
- MAX rank: 1177 (+307)
- MAX+PRO rank: 1354 (+177)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +59
- Stock to MAX+PRO rank difference: 484
- Upgrade rank percentages: 10/60/10/20
- Nitro Efficiency: 7/12/17
In its initial release, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X's was inferior to the Geely GC9 due to its poor acceleration and nitro efficiency but was buffed upon its release. As a rival to the SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI, it is more efficient in nitro, handling, and drifting, although the WRX STI still has the edge in acceleration and total speed.
With the inclusion of the Mazda RX-8 in the Elite Cars Update and other new Class D cars, the Lancer is now only a collector's car as it lacks any sort of performance to stand out from its rivals. Tuning the Lancer for low rank Multiplayer matches, unfortunately, does not restore the worthiness of the Lancer due to the further imbalanced matchmaking servers caused by the new Multiplayer League format which will match the Lancer against the higher ranked Range Rover Evoque Coupe HSE Dynamic that can easily crush the Lancer.
The Lancer counts towards the Old School and Japanese Dragons collections which awards a total of 975,000, 7 Nitro Starters, and 25 Extra Tanks when all 4 versions are completed.
The Lancer had an original buying price of 1,000 that has since been increased to 1,425. Upgrades cost 2,167,710. Pro Kits require 602,500, 11 of each Class D Parts card, 10 Early & Initial Tech cards and 8 i4 engine cards
For September 2016, the Lancer was obtainable as a Daily Bonus reward for 28 consecutive days of log-ins. If players already owned the car prior to September's Daily Bonus reward, they were to instead be given only 2,800 as compensation. Gameloft Customer Care compensated for the meagre sum either with 35,000 or a decal for the car worth 2,100
Asphalt Xtreme
The car was first introduced as a Special Projects event on March 24, 2017. The event was supposed to have a duration of 11 days, however, multiple reports said to have vanished without further notice at maximum 1 and a half days before the scheduled end.
The Lancer now appears as a Class S Rally Car. Assembly requires 30 blueprints.

- Stock rank: 467
- 1* rank: 791
- 2* rank: 1,094 (8 BPs)
- 3* rank: 1,381 (30 BPs)
A total of , 16 Common Import Parts and 4 Class Parts are required for upgrades.
Performance
