The Mosler Land Shark was added in the Championship Update.

  +
*Starting rank: 1644
The Mosler Land Shark has the second-highest starting rank of any car in the game, with 1644; it also has a MAX rank of 1737, and a MAX+PRO rank of 1800. As an Elite Car, it can be uptuned to 1808. A Tuning Kit adds 23 points, giving it a legitimate maximum of 1831. The Land Shark's rivals are the TRION NEMESIS and W Motors Fenyr Supersport. It may also be able to rival the Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV in some occassions.

*MAX rank: 1737 (+93)
  +
*MAX+PRO rank: 1800 (+63)

*Stock to MAX+PRO rank difference: 156

*Upgrade rank percentages: 10/40/10/40

*Speed Modifier: 95.75%
  +
**This was removed in the 2019 Holiday Update.

*Nitro Efficiency: 5/10/15

  +
The Land Shark's rivals are the TRION NEMESIS, Mercedes MP4-25, Rezvani Beast Alpha, 720S, and Porsche Carrera GT.
Performance
The Land Shark is basically the fastest Mosler car in the game. It has an excellent nitro duration of 5/10/15, very good handling (really similar to the Aston Martin Vulcan or the Arrinera Hussarya GT), good drifting (although it's not the best in S Class), good acceleration, which is better than many of its rivals, such as the W Motors Fenyr Supersport and the Arash AF10, almost equal to the acceleration of the McLaren P1 GTR, but it is worse than the TRION NEMESIS' ones. It has a speed modification of 95.75% (lower than the Arash or the TRION), and at MAX PRO with Elite Tuning of 0-8-0-8 (Final rank is 1808) its top speed is 497.4 km/h (309 mph).

Overall, the Mosler Land Shark is a better version of the Mosler Super GT, with higher rank and same speed modification. Its only downfall is its top speed, which is not enough to compete with cars like the Aston Martin Vulcan, Apollo Intensa Emozione, Arrinera Hussarya GT or even the Porsche 918 Spyder with Weissach Package.

Final verdict: "Mosler Land Shark can achieve 55.110 seconds in French Guiana. It is just 0.1 seconds slower than the TRION NEMESIS, whose acceleration is still the best in the game. But Land Shark has a slightly higher top speed and especially a better nitro duration. As result this car is one of the best S Class cars in the game. Besides that, it is easier to make PRO than the TRION, since Mosler only requires 28 forced induction V8 cards."

The Mosler Land Shark, correctly called the Mosler MT900 GTR XX Twin Turbo Land Shark, is a Mosler MT900-based, custom-built hypercar.

Description

The Mosler MT900 GTR XX Twin Turbo Land Shark made its official debut at the 2009 Bonneville Speed Week.

The Mosler Land Shark weighs only 1898 lb (861 kg) and is powered by a 6.2L (381 cu in) engine V8 that delivers 2500 hp (1864 kW) and a torque output estimated at 1844 ft·lb (2500 N·m). The V8, sourced from Chevrolet, is equipped with twin turbochargers. The resulting power-to-weight ratios are 2,903 hp per tonne and 1.32 lb/0.60 kg per hp.

The Land Shark can sprint from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds and hits the 150 mph (241 km/h) mark just 4.2 seconds later. In the end, thanks to a 90 lb (41 kg) Trentek chassis, the extensive engine tuning, and body modifications, the car has an actual top speed of over 305 mph (491 km/h). However, this is reduced to 260 mph (419 km/h) in Asphalt 8: Airborne to make the car more balanced.

The Mosler Land Shark's engine contains twin carbon fiber fuel cells for gas and methane, making it a multi-fuel engine and, consequently, making the car a "hybrid" hypercar in the sense that it can be driven in California's carpool lanes that normally accommodate other hybrid cars.
