The Nissan Juke NISMO is a subcompact crossover SUV made by Nissan in Asphalt 7: Heat and Asphalt 8: Airborne
Overview
- Text originally from the Nissan Juke's Wikipedia article.
New for 2013, the NISMO version differs from the base Juke in styling changes to the bumpers and skirts, interior styling, modified suspension and steering, 18 in (46 cm) wheels, an unspecified "torque vectoring" option, and engine tuning. The engine is rated at 197 hp (147 kW)@6,000 rpm and 184 lb·ft (249 N·m) of torque @ 2,000 rpm. For the American Market there is also a higher-end Nismo RS variant, with upgraded standard equipment (Recaro front seats, carbon fiber). The engine is upgraded to 215 hp (160 kW)@6,300 rpm and 210 lb·ft (285 N·m)@3,600 rpm.
Asphalt 7: Heat
The Nissan Juke NISMO is a Tier 1 car added in Update 1.0.7, with the Nissan Juke R (A Tier 2 car). The Nissan Juke NISMO can be seen as an upgrade from the Abarth 500 ESSEESSE, the car the player is given at a start of the game. It has a slightly worse handling stat, as it is a crossover, but has better top speed, slightly better acceleration, decent nitro duration and power, and higher armor. Its rivals are the Land Rover Range Rover EVOQUE and the Mini Cooper S Coupe.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
Summary
The Nissan Juke Nismo was added in the Enduro Update as a mid Class D car with the following statistics:
- Starting rank: 821
- MAX rank: 1139 (+318)
- This is shared with the Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2016 Veloce's starting rank.
- MAX+PRO rank: 1321 (+182)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +66
- Upgrade Rank Percentages: 10/65/10/15
- Nitro Efficiency: 7/12/14
Performance
The Nissan Juke Nismo's handling is good enough to turn most corners without drifting although over-drifting can occur.
The Nissan Juke Nismo also has a large nitro stat, however, it is slightly smaller than the Volkswagen Beetle Turbo and other similar cars. The Nissan Juke Nismo's acceleration is moderately high, and it works well with the large nitro boost. The only real downfall of the Nissan Juke Nismo is its lack of a high raw top speed (compared to cars like the Nissan 370Z); however, this figure is still much larger than cars like the Renault DeZir or Ford F-150. The Nissan Juke Nismo is slower than many higher Class D cars, however, this is mostly due to its position within the class.
Usage
The Nissan Juke Nismo's nitro stat increases by 19.4 mph (31.3 km/h) at MAX + PRO, but nitro upgrades alone only increase the rank by 15% of the total (dual-PRO upgrades will cause a slightly larger increase), allowing the Nissan Juke Nismo to stay well below rank 1000 while achieving an above-average speed. The Nissan Juke Nismo increases by only ~90-100 ranks with a MAX+PRO nitro stat, despite the large speed increase mentioned above. However, past this point, speed upgrades become very inefficient (top speed).
This allows the Nissan Juke Nismo to become a serious competitor against most opponents in low-rank Multiplayer races; however, if all racers are similarly ranked, boosted, and take correct routes/don't wreck, the Nissan Juke Nismo will usually lose against the Range Rover Evoque Coupe HSE Dynamic, Renault DeZir or Porsche 959 at every rank. A recommended tune is 0104 0202, rank 889, top speed 147 mph (237 km/h), total top speed 184 mph (296-297 km/h), with a Tuning Kit. Another recommended tune is 0005 0202, rank 883, top speed 145 mph (233 km/h), total top speed 185 mph (297-298 km/h), with a Tuning Kit.
The Nissan Juke Nismo has limited usage in Time-Limited Events due to the moderate performance for Class D. It is also not the best car for Career Mode, due to its lack of an individual Career Mode race, as well as its high purchase price.
The Nissan Juke Nismo counts towards the Japanese Dragons collection. Completing both version awards a total of 975,000
Price & Availability
The Nissan Juke Nismo cost 155,000 or 1,100 that was decreased to and currently costs 95,000.
As of the 2019 Spring Update, upgrades cost 526,000 while while Pro Kits require 175,200, 25 of each Class D Part, 30 Early & Initial Techs each, and 20 i4 Engines.
Prior to the Lunar New Year 2017 Update, the Nissan Juke Nismo was always available for purchase since June 17, 2016. It was briefly changed into a time-limited car, available only for purchase between February 26, 2017 to March 4, 2017 before being made permanently available again.
