The Pagani Huayra (Italian pronunciation: [ˈwai̯ra]) is a limited-production hypercar produced by Pagani as the successor to the Zonda supercar. It is named after Huayra-tata, a Quechua wind god.
Description
The Pagani Huayra is a rear mid-engined hypercar that uses a seven-speed sequential transmission delivering power to the rear wheels. The Huayra uses a twin-turbo V12 engine developed by Mercedes-AMG and derived from the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series's M275 AMG engine. Displacing 6.0L (5,980 cc), the Huayra's M158 V12 produces 720 hp (537 kW) and 737 ft·lb (1000 N·m) of torque. It has been designed at the request of Pagani to reduce turbo lag and improve response, realized with smaller turbos, a different intercooler configuration, and re-programmed ECU settings.
The Huayra has a 0-60 acceleration time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 231 mph (372 km/h). Using Pirelli tires, it can withstand 1.66 g of lateral acceleration at speeds of up to 230 mph (370 km/h).
The Huayra also incorporates active aerodynamics, capable of altering front height from the ground and independently operating two pairs of flaps placed at the rear and front.
The Huayra has a curb weight of 3741 lb (1697 kg) and a dry weight of 2976 lb (1350 kg), giving it a minimum power-to-weight ratio of 424 hp per tonne and a maximum power-to-weight ratio of 533 hp per tonne.
Asphalt Injection
The Pagani Huayra is a Tier 7 car and is a prize of Career Cup 9. It costs 320,000 Cash. It is faster than the RUF RT 12 S, Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, and Ferrari 288 GTO, but still not the best, as the Ferrari FXX Evo and RUF CTR 3 have faster nitro speed.

Summary
The Pagani Huayra was added in the Daily Bonus Update as a low Class S car with the following rank statistics:
- Starting rank: 1509
- MAX rank: 1623 (+114)
- MAX+PRO rank: 1701 (+78)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +29
- Stock to MAX+PRO rank difference: 192

The Pagani Huayra rivals the Kepler Motion, ONUK Sazan LM, and Mazzanti Evantra.
Performance
A hallmark of Pagani-manufactured cars in Asphalt 8 is that they feature extremely high acceleration and nitro stats, while being able to drift around corners better than other vehicles of similar rank, but have subpar raw top speed versus competitors, and the Pagani Huayra is no exception.
The Pagani Huayra features a high acceleration rating—with a full nitro bar and no Tuning Kit applied, it takes approximately 3 seconds to accelerate from a standstill to its maximum speed of 278.6 mph (448.7 km/h) using level 3 nitro. This is faster than the ~4 seconds that the Lamborghini Veneno and Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning take to accelerate to their respective maximum speeds of 277.7 mph (447.2 km/h) and 285.9 mph (460.4 km/h). This is also much faster than the ~6 seconds that the RUF CTR 3 takes to accelerate to its maximum speed of 281.3 mph (453.0 km/h), but much slower than the 1.6 seconds that the McLaren MP4/8 takes to accelerate to the Huayra's maximum speed using level 3 nitro.
Upon release, the Pagani Huayra had the strongest nitro boost among all Class S cars and the longest-lasting nitro for levels 2 and 3. However, since then, the Porsche 918 Spyder with Weissach Package is the only car to surpass its nitro boost (making the Huayra the car with the second-highest nitro boost).
The Pagani Huayra's drifting capabilities are well above average. It is one of the few Class S vehicles that can enter the helix at Sector 8 at full speed with level 3 nitro active and drift through the entire section without the driver needing to resort to drift-braking or scraping along the outer wall to stay on course. Ironically, the Huayra's handling capabilities are not as impressive as they may seem due to the Huayra's high nitro boost. Despite it having what appears to be the strongest handling stat of the early Class S cars, the GTA Spano and RUF CTR 3 are often regarded as being considerably easier to steer around bends than the Huayra.
The Pagani Huayra also suffers from a low top speed—the lowest when untuned, and the second-lowest among all Class S vehicles, with only the Lamborghini Veneno having a lower top speed at MAX+PRO rank. The low top speed means that the Huayra is ill-suited for tracks with long stretches, such as Tokyo or Azure Coast. While the Huayra can excel on shorter, technical tracks like Sector 8 or Dubai, the driver must rely on its outstanding acceleration, drifting, and handling capabilities, as well as its stellar nitro boost and efficiency, in order to offset its low top speed.
Overall, the Pagani Huayra can be described as an upgraded Pagani Zonda R. While the Huayra's raw top speed is lower than the Zonda R, it accelerates, drifts, and handles better, and it has a better nitro boost and better level 3 nitro efficiency rating than the Zonda R.
Usage
The Pagani Huayra is one of the cheaper Class S vehicles to purchase and upgrade to MAX+PRO, so its Car Mastery Challenges are an easy source of . However, its higher level Pro Kits require V12 Engine cards, which are also used by top Class S cars like the AM Vulcan and Apollo IE. For this reason, it may not be practical to tune the Huayra to MAX+PRO as soon as possible.
The Pagani Huayra is a decent vehicle that can be used to complete most Class S Career races, and its Mastery Challenge 14 is a suitable race to grind . Despite this, it is often overlooked in favor of the Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning, which costs roughly the same amount of to purchase, upgrade and can be used to complete Mercedes- and electric car-only Career races, and the W Motors Lykan HyperSport, which is slightly more expensive in general, but is also superior to both the Huayra and Silver Lightning in performance and has a better farming rate in its Mastery Challenge 15. As of the Hot Wheels Update, the Huayra's higher-up counterpart, the Huayra BC, now replaces the Huayra as a farming car if the player could obtain it through its Research & Development event or can assemble it with Blueprints.
The Pagani Huayra also counts towards the Italian Stallions, New Blood, and Euro Aces collections. Completion of all 6 collections awards a total of 315,000, 10 Tuning Kits, 2 Class D and 3 Class C Free Upgrades.
Price
The Huayra has a buying price of 1,275, changed from the original 420,000. As of the 2019 Spring Update, upgrades cost 956,000 while Pro Kits require 320,000, 12 of each Class S Part, 12 Mid-Techs, 16 Advanced Techs and 4 V12 Engines.
Asphalt Nitro
The Pagani Huayra was added in Asphalt Nitro Update 4. While having identical performance to its Asphalt 8: Airborne rendition, it is now a Class A car and costs 315,000 to purchase.
Despite its rank, the Huayra cannot compete with the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione and Tramontana XTR, although it faces some rivalry with the Ferrari LaFerrari, and Lamborghini Veneno.
