The Pagani Huayra BC is a track-focused version of the Pagani Huayra.
Description
The Pagani Huayra BC was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The name "Huayra" was adopted from the term "Huayra-Tata", an Andean Wind God. The Huayra "BC" abbreviation stands for the late Benny Caiola, a friend of Horacio Pagani (founder of Pagani) and the first Pagani customer.
The Huayra BC features an improved version of the standard Huayra's 6.0 L (5,980 cc) twin-turbo V12 engine, producing 745 hp (556 kW) as well as 811 ft·lb (1100 N·m) of torque, giving the car a 0 - 60 mph (0 - 97 km/h) time of 2.8 seconds, 0 - 100 mph (0 - 161 km/h) in 5.6 seconds, and a top speed of 238 mph (383 km/h).
The weight of the car is also reduced by 291 lb (132 kg) to just 2862 lb (1298 kg) (2685 lb (1218 kg) dry), thanks to the use of a new material called 'carbon triax' which Pagani claims is 50% lighter and 20% stronger than regular carbon fibre, giving the car a power-to-weight ratio of 1.62 kg per horsepower. The Huayra BC comes with a lighter titanium exhaust system, new aluminium alloy wheels, and a stripped out interior.
The tires are Pirelli P-Zero Corsas that feature 12 different rubber compounds, and the suspension and wishbones are made of aeronautical grade aluminium, known as Avional. The Huayra BC also has a new front bumper with a front splitter and winglets, deeper side skirts, and an air diffuser that stretches the entire width of the rear bumper with a large rear wing. All of the exterior components in the car are used to optimise downforce and drag. Adding on to that, the Huayra BC uses an all-new Xtrac 7-speed sequential manual transmission. Pagani has also stuck with a single-clutch gearbox because it weighs 40% less than double-clutch gearboxes.

Summary
The Pagani Huayra BC was added in the Hot Wheels Update as a high-end Class S car with the following rank statistics:
- Starting rank: 1565
- MAX rank: 1708 (+143)
- MAX+PRO rank: 1800 (+92)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +33
- Stock to MAX+PRO rank difference: 235
- Upgrade rank percentages: 10/30/10/50
- Nitro Efficiency: 7/11.5/15
Performance
An all-rounded car built on a performance map combining those of the GT by CITROEN and McLaren P1™ GTR, the Pagani Huayra BC has very good acceleration, very good handling, a decently sharp drift radius, and a slightly above average nitro efficiency of 7/11.5/15.
Going from a stop to MAX+PRO+Tuning Kit speed in 3.5 seconds, the Huayra BC's acceleration is slower than those of the top-end Class S cars. However, except with the 2018 McLaren X2 and Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4, the differences are relatively small and should not make too much difference if the driver is skilled.
The Huayra BC’s main downfall is its total speed of only 304.0 mph/489.5 km/h at MAX+PRO+Tuning Kit, as well as its low Tuning Kit bonus of only +33, in comparison with the Vulcan's +62 (as an example).
As a result of its combination of performance stats, the Huayra BC is a decent competitor for current Class S "kings", especially on short and twisty tracks owing to its good handling, and a good alternative for those who do not have any top-tier S Class cars yet. This car is therefore a collector's item for those already owning a top tier Class S car due to the car's very low total speed, which is actually lower than even those of the W Motors Fenyr SuperSport and McLaren 720S.
Official review
This is the official review of the Pagani Huayra BC on the Asphalt YouTube channel, made by TheHawtDawg1 and published on January 8, 2018:
Time to reach end of Tokyo straight: 7.260s
Perfect nitro duration: 9.372s
Triple nitro duration: 7.029s
French Guiana lap time: 55.869s
Final verdict: "The Pagani Huayra BC is a top tier S Class car that is very easy to drive. The handling is easy to learn and the acceleration and nitro duration are decent. However its total speed is the only factor holding it back from becoming the S class king."
Usage
- Main article: Car Mastery/Pagani Huayra BC
Being a high-end S Class car and an all-rounder, the Huayra BC is a good choice for S Class TLEs if the player does not have any better cars like the Arrinera Hussarya GT, Aston Martin Vulcan, Apollo Intensa Emozione, 2018 McLaren X2, or Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4. However, it is overshadowed by a few, slightly better cars and hence will not be able to attain the top 100 in most cases. Still, the performance difference is small enough to the point where the driver's skill level matters more.
The Huayra BC's Mastery rewards are the car's main usefulness; not only does it have a Double Credits reward but also Champion Kit Boxes, as well as an effective farming race: its 15th Mastery Challenge, Unplugged on The London Eye with 6,200 earned in ~47 seconds, which mirrors the original Pagani Huayra's 15th Mastery Challenge. However, the GT by CITROEN still has slightly more profitability with a base Credits value of 6,185 instead of 6,135, although the GT by CITROEN faces the problem of its 15th Mastery Challenge being a Flawless race.
However, as each update passes by, the Huayra BC's niches have slowly been taken away. The Champion Kit Boxes have been replaced with Blueprint boxes as of the Asphalt Moments Update, which left the 15th challenge and the Double Credits as the remaining niches. The usefulness of the Huayra BC is further reduced as of the Fast Lane Update, which rendered Mastery races unreplayable, a change that affected all vehicles which were also used for grinding credits.
Multiplayer
As the Huayra BC has a high starting track of 1565, it is unsuitable for mid to mid-high rank Multiplayer usage. Hence, it is best to use the Huayra BC in Multiplayer at MAX+PRO, where it can compete well on short/twisty tracks.
Despite this, the competition at ranks 1800+ is fierce and hence the driver should be careful not to make any mistakes for a podium finish. However, the majority of players here are in Champion League and hence there are plenty of points to go around.
In the prototype matchmaking used in the Fifth Anniversary Update, the Pagani Huayra BC had some potential to be competitive, more so than before. Even so, it is still at risk of being matched against the likes of the Rezvani Beast Alpha and McLaren Mercedes MP4-25, which are much superior.
Price
The Pagani Huayra BC can be received by obtaining and assembling 20 of its Legendary-rarity Blueprints. Assembly takes 16 hours but can be skipped for up to 475.
MAX upgrades cost 3,429,900 or 23,225, with Pro Kits requiring 1,542,425, 23 of each Class S Parts card, 28 V12 Engines, 36 Mid-Techs, and 20 Advanced Techs.
