The Porsche 911 Carrera S (991.2) is an updated version of the Porsche 911 Carrera S (991) rear-engined sports car.

Introduced at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Porsche 911 (991) was revised for the 2016 model year with an internal code name of 991.2, with new styling and options, along with all new, smaller 3.0L (2,981 cc) twin-turbocharged flat-six engines across the range.
The 911 Carrera S (991.2) uses a 3.0L twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine producing 414 hp (309 kW) at 6,500 rpm and 369 ft·lb (500 N·m) between 1,700 and 5,000 rpm. With a weight of 3219 lb (1460 kg), the Carrera S (991.2) has a power-to-weight ratio of 7.78 lb/3.53 kg per hp or 284 hp per tonne.
The 911 Carrera S (991.2) comes with the option of either a seven-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed PDK. The manual delivers 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 191 mph (308 km/h), while the PDK delivers 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 182 mph (293 km/h).
