The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2023 is the 992.1 generation of the 911 GT3 RS, succeeding the 991.2-generation.
Description[]
As a 2023 model succeeding the 992.1-generation 911 GT3, the car features a motorsport-inspired central radiator derived from the Porsche 911 RSR. It is capable of generating up to 1,895 lbs of downforce and is the first 911 GT3 RS to incorporate a Drag Reduction System (DRS) with active aerodynamics, a fixed main wing, and a hydraulically actuated upper blade. The 992.1 GT3 RS also offers three driving modes: Normal, Sport, and Track.
Its 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine was tuned to produce 518 horsepower through the use of new camshafts, an upgraded intake system, and a more rigid valvetrain. It is paired with a 7-speed PDK transmission featuring shorter gear ratios. The car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 184 mph.
The car weighs 3,268 lbs and features a lightweight construction using carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) on the doors, front quarter panels, roof, hood, and interior components.[1]
