Porsche Motor Series

The Porsche Motor Series, also known as the Porsche Special Events Series, is a series of exclusive events in the Porsche Update for Asphalt 8: Airborne, added to celebrate Porsche's debut in the Asphalt series. It was held between June 8 and July 20, 2017. These span three special event types: Championship, Research & Development, and Enduro Double Down.

The Porsche Motor Series was revived to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Porsche, between June 8 and November 13, 2018. Except for the Porsche 959's Championship, all events were modified to only give the cars after completion of their respective events.

List of Events

Event 1 - Porsche Cayman GT4 Championship

The Porsche Cayman GT4 Championship is the first event in the Porsche Motor Series, published on June 7, 2017. Locations include:

• Rio de Janeiro
• The Great Wall
• London
• French Guiana
• Venice
• Alps
• Tenerife
• San Diego Harbor

Players are given 7 days once they start the Championship.

In the 70th Anniversary version, this event was put as the fourth event.

 

Event 2 - Porsche 959 Championship

The Porsche 959 Championship is the second event in the Porsche Motor Series, was published on June 15, 2017. Locations include:

• Alps
• Patagonia
• French Guiana
• Rio de Janeiro
• Tenerife
• Tokyo
• Venice
• London

Players are given 7 days once they start the Championship.

In the 70th Anniversary version, this event was put as the first event.

 

Event 3 - Porsche 911 GT3 RS R&D

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS R&D is the third event in the Porsche Motor Series, published on June 23, 2017. It has 4 Labs spanning 50 Tests that must be completed in 14 days once the event is started.

In the 70th Anniversary version, this event was put as the third event, but with some changes:

• The Proto Key refill time is now 4 hours 30 minutes.
• The event now lasts 12 days.

 

Event 4 - Porsche 718 Boxster S Championship

The Porsche 718 Boxster S Championship is the fourth event in the Porsche Motor Series, published on July 10, 2017. Locations include:

• Azure Coast
• Nevada
• Barcelona
• The Great Wall
• San Diego Harbor
• Dubai
• Tokyo
• Alps

Players are given 7 days once they start the Championship.

In the 70th Anniversary version, this event was put as the second event.

 

The Final Showdown - Porsche 918 Spyder with Weissach Package Enduro Double Down

The Porsche 918 Spyder with Weissach Package Enduro Double Down is the fifth and final event in the Porsche Motor Series, published on July 20, 2017. The game describes this event as the "Final Showdown".

In the 70th Anniversary version, this event was put as the fifth event, but with some changes:

• The EDD Rookie BP Box was replaced with the Porsche 718 Boxster S, while the EDD Advanced BP Box was replaced with the Porsche Cayman GT4. Credits are awarded if both cars are already owned.
