The Porsche Taycan Turbo S is the highest performance trim of the Taycan electric sports sedan.
Overview[]
The Taycan is initially being offered as a saloon model but an estate model called the Taycan Cross Turismo is due to be launched. Other planned variants include a two-door coupe and convertible models which will be put into production based on market demand. Models introduced at launch include the high performance Turbo and Turbo S. A mid-range model called the Taycan 4S with two battery sizes was added to the lineup in October 2019.
Asphalt 9: Legends[]
The Porsche Taycan Turbo S was added in the Porsche Season Update as a high-end Class D car with the following rank statistics:
Usage[]
At 1*, the Porsche Taycan has a low top speed and nitro with mediocre acceleration and handling. Much like the Vanda Electrics Dendrobium, Nissan Leaf Nismo RC, and Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, perfect nitro gives the Taycan the biggest speed boost compared to the other nitro types. When upgraded to higher stars, the Taycan has fast acceleration, sharp handling and tight drift radius, but still has a low top speed.
Availability[]
Blueprints for the Taycan were initially available only during the Porsche Season from its Legend Pass. During the Full Throttle Update, a Car Hunt for the Taycan was also available but only for those that had purchased the Legend Pass. The Car Hunt was later held for 2nd time in the Electric Season Update, now without the Legend Pass requirement.
Asphalt 8: Airborne[]
The Porsche Taycan Turbo S was added in the Wild Cards Update as a high Class C car with the following statistics:
- Starting rank: 1163
- PRO rank: 1543 (+380)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +54
- Nitro Efficiency: 5/9.5/13
As of the 2021 Summer Update, the Taycan is now a low Class C car with the following statistics:
- Starting rank: 1163
- PRO rank: 1411 (+248)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +42
- Nitro Efficiency: 5/9.5/14.5
Performance[]
v5.1[]
At stock, the Porsche Taycan Turbo S has decent acceleration, weak handling, and a tight drifting radius.
At , the Taycan retains its weak handling but now has rapid acceleration.
Usage[]
v5.1[]
Like most festival cars, the Taycan is not suitable at all for multiplayer at its base rank, only being competitive at 1200 and above. Its excellent nitro efficiency and quick acceleration makes it a good option at the ranks of 1300-1400 but will also face competition from the Audi R8 e-tron Special Edition.
At , the Taycan's main strengths are its acceleration and nitro efficiency with both being among the best for Class C. It excels on the short and technical layouts of Sector 8, Munich Subway, The Great Wall, and Dubai where its acceleration and tight drift radius allow it to compete with the Pininfarina H2 Speed and Volkswagen I.D. R. However, on Tokyo, Azure Coast, and Iceland, the Taycan's lower top speed means that both the H2 Speed and I.D. R are capable of catching up to and overtaking the Taycan within a lap.
Price[]
The Porsche Taycan Turbo S was initially obtainable by reaching Tier 8 in its Festival. If viewed in the Tag Racing car selection menu, it showed a price of 3,750 when the option to buy the car was unavailable after the festival is over.
The Taycan Turbo S could be obtained for the second time in the Exotic Rides W70 Festival by reaching tier 14 of the premium rewards. Players who already own the car would receive 90,000 instead.
The Taycan Turbo S is obtainable a third time for reaching Tier 1 with the Premium upgrade in the Porsche 911 GT1 Evolution Festival. Players who already own the car would win 5x Porsche 911 GT1 Evolution Kit instead.
As of the 2021 Summer Update, the Taycan Turbo S can be purchased for 430,000.
As of the Gangstar Season Update, upgrades require 55 of each Uncommon Drivetrain, Uncommon Exhaust, Uncommon Suspension, Uncommon Tires, 60 Uncommon Tech, 160 Porsche Taycan Turbo S Kit and 6,000,000.
