Prop Hunt is an event type in Asphalt 8: Airborne introduced in the Eleventh Anniversary Update.
Gameplay[]
Prop Hunt appears as a board game and the player must offer a certain amount of Props in order to obtain a reward.
Props[]
To obtain a reward from the board, the player must first collect the required amount of Props. This can be varied depending on the event.
Props can be obtained by the following methods:
- Receiving a certain number of Props for free daily
- Watching a certain amount of ads after claiming the free one
- Buying for
Tokens for a number of times for a certain amount of days - Buying for
Vouchers or various in-app purchases that are available during the event for a number of times - Collecting Props in events that are marked with a "Prop" symbol
- After finishing the race, the player is given an option to watch an ad to increase the amount of Props by a certain amount. The option would no longer be offered after the player watched a certain amount of ads
- If the player exceeded the amount of Props that are obtainable in 1 day, this option is greyed out
- Buying for
Multiplayer Badges for a number of times in a certain amount of days (for the Trick-or-Treat Pumpkins Hunt)
Rewards[]
For the 11th Anniversary Cake Hunt, reward can only be claimed after the player choosing a face-down cell that was shuffled from the initial board, rewards that have already been claimed remain face-up. The number of Cakes required to draw a reward incrementally increases with each reward redeemed.
For the Trick-or-Treat Pumpkins Hunt, in addition to the rewards board, a new Lucky Box and a Top-Up box were added. In this event, the reward can only be claimed after exchanging a certain amount of Props
Rewards can included: 
Fusion Coins, Boosters, Parts, Wild Cards, Featured Cars (or Master Keys of the corresponding class if the player already owned), Featured Motorcycles (or alternative rewards if the player already owned), Tokens (from the Trick-or-Treat Pumpkins Hunt onwards)
After a certain amount of days, the rewards board will be reset. The leftover Props will be carried over to the next rewards board, until the event ended
Depending on the event, there will be a certain amount of TLEs that will last a certain amount of days
If the player has leftover Props when the event ends, these will be nulled and cannot be used in future events.
