The RAESR Tartarus, also known as the RAESR Tachyon Tartarus is one of the design studies for proposed successors of the RAESR Tachyon.
Description[]
The Tartarus is one of the design studies of the RAESR's Tachyon line along with Xenomorph, Wolfsblood and Celeri by the brand's founder, Eric Rice, using Solidworks. In Greek mythology, Tartarus means both deity, and the lowest place in the world.
In the Instagram posts from the brand on November 4th, 2022, for the first post, four of the Tachyon "Tartarus" iterations were posted as well as giving details of the car such as having 3-seat layout, methanol-fueled V8 engine producing over 2500 horsepower combined with 670 hp of electric motors to produce over 3000 horsepower, emphasizing on 4:59 ratio of downforce, and three different trims with their own bodyworks.[1] For the second post, the render of a concept car seen next to the original Tachyon Speed, where the concept car was dubbed as "Tartarus", which the variant as seen in Asphalt Legends Unite was used.[2] Rear ends of all body variants were posted in the third post.[3]

Performance[]
At MAX, it has a top speed of around 537.5 km/h, making it the second fastest vehicle in the game, only behind the Devel Sixteen. The acceleration and handling are great, but the nitro efficiency is considerably lacking. On most tracks, it is unable to reach top speed in spite of its acceleration and handling due to its abysmal nitro efficiency and inability to perform 360 "floaties" as well as punch drifts effectively. As of the Festive Fury Update, it is the highest ranked vehicle in the game.
Availability[]
It is the main car of Drive Syndicate 10: Fury in the Air.
