Overview
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The first car to be added to the game in an update, the Renault CLIO R.S. 200 EDC is one of the three superminis in the game, alongside the Mini Cooper S Roadster and Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA. All three mentioned cars are high-end Class D cars, with the CLIO having a starting rank of 821 and a maximum rank of 1051. The Renault CLIO R.S. 200 EDC uses a Nissan engine instead of an I4 engine. The Renault CLIO R.S. 200 EDC is the first Renault car was introduced in an update in Asphalt 8: Airborne, and the second Renault car was introduced in an update was the Renault DeZir.
The Renault CLIO R.S. 200 EDC accelerates rather quickly compared to other Class D cars thanks to a huge nitro boost, though it's efficiency is very poor. The handling is also better than the Mini Cooper S Roadster's, but still not better than that of the Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA's. The top speed is somewhat poor. As a result, it can be seem as an upgrade from the Audi R8 e-tron or a version of the Tramontana XTR.
The Renault CLIO R.S. 200 EDC costs 45,000 to purchase (same as the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Race Car from Class A) and 140,600 to max out.
The Renault CLIO R.S. 200 EDC qualifies for the following events:
- Season 1 - Classic single lap race in Temple Drive, bonus stars for Knockdowns 2 and Perfect Runs 2
- Season 9 - Classic single lap race in Great Wall Rev., bonus stars for Beat 1:35 and No Wrecks
