The Renault ZOE e-sport Concept is a concept electric hatchback based on the ZOE hatchback, with technology from the Formula E Renault.
Description[]
- Text originally from the ZOE e-Sport Concept's Renault UK page.
Our latest concept car is defined by its expressive design, a Renault ZOE with sportiness taken to the extreme. An exercise in style that embodies our passion for automobiles combined with the exceptional potential of the electric vehicle in terms of driving enjoyment. Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept is the fusion of a standard Renault ZOE and a Formula E Renault e.dams single seater.
Satin Blue bodywork inspired by the Renault e.dams single-seater livery, touches of yellow, C -Shape lighting signature and the Renault diamond brought to the fore with a vertical and back-lit treatment... Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept embodies and enhances our brand identity. What's not to love? Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept embodies our passion for motor sport and the excellence of our Renault Sport engineers—two-time Formula E world champions.
The design and calibration of the Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept chassis have greatly benefited from the expertise of our Renault Sport Cars teams, experts for some of the Renault Group's most radical sports vehicles. The quest for the highest level of dynamic performance guided their technical decisions. A tubular chassis created by TORK Engineering, double-triangle suspension at the front and rear, 20-inch wheels and OHLINS four-way adjustable shock absorbers provide Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept with ultimate performance on the circuit.
Thanks to its architecture, its on-board power and power transmission management, Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept performs at the highest level. Thanks to its weight/power ratio (1460 kg including driver/460 hp) and 640 Nm torque (320 Nm per engine) available almost instantly, it can reach 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 210 Km/h in under 10 seconds.
Asphalt 8: Airborne[]
Stylized as the Renault ZOE e-sport Concept, it was added in the 2021 Lunar New Year Update and released in the 2021 Spring Update as a low Class D car with the following stats:
- Starting rank: 976
- PRO rank: 1230
- Tuning Kit bonus: +37
- Nitro Efficiency: 5.5/9.5/13
Performance[]
With its low starting rank, the Zoe can be upgraded to the 1100 rank range and compete with the Suzuki GSX-R750 and Scion FR-S. When properly upgraded, it can rival the GSX-750's acceleration and the FR-S' top speed while having a nitro efficiency that is comparable to the Ford F-150.
At full however, the Zoe becomes an ordinary 1230 rank range car as it has neither the acceleration or nitro efficiency to compete with the Infiniti FX50 nor the handling and drifting radius to stand out from the other cars in that range.
