The SSC Tuatara is among one of the most powerful cars in the Asphalt series. The SSC Tuatara has a lower performance than its predecessor.
Overview
The SSC Tuatara is the replacement for the SSC Ultimate Aero and it is one of the fastest cars. The SSC Tuatara is beaten by the SSC Ultimate Aero XT and it is the first car's successor is outperformed by a car's predecessor.
Asphalt 7: Heat
The SSC Tuatara is one of the fastest and last cars in the game, at the high end of Tier 7. It is never playable because it could only be won in a very difficult race, but opponents can use this car against you.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
Unlike the previous game, the SSC Tuatara is now playable anytime. The SSC Tuatara shares its in-game engine sound with the McLaren P1, Peugeot Onyx, Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Race Car, and Felino cB7. Prior to its release, it appeared as an Al racer in an Easter Egg event in April before appearing as an event car, with top 100 getting it.
With a starting rank of 1561, a maximum rank of 1659 (shared with the Chrysler ME412), and a final rank of 1725, the SSC Tuatara is a high-end Class S car. At 98 points, the SSC Tuatara also has the smallest gap between the starting rank and maximum rank of any car to date. Acceleration and top speed are among the best in the game, combined with a good nitro duration and boost. Handling is also decent. If used correctly, the Tuatara can beat the W Motors Lykan HyperSport anytime, especially on long tracks. However, it actually has a lower pure top speed than the Koenigsegg Agera R. This is considering that both cars are maxed out and Koenigsegg Agera R has a weaker nitro boost.
The SSC Tuatara costs 950,000 to purchase and 2,328,000 to max out. All cars released after the SSC Tuatara have received maximum upgrade prices higher than most other cars of their class.
As of the San Diego Harbor update, the SSC Tuatara still doesn't have an event of its own in the regular Career mode (not including Season 9), even though its predecessor, the SSC Ultimate Aero XT, does have one as the final race of Season 8.
The SSC Tuatara's competitors are the Hennessey Venom GT, Koenigsegg One:1, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and the W Motors Lykan HyperSport. Therefore, the SSC Tuatara is considered as a hyper car.
