The Sbarro Alcador is a Swiss-made mid-engined supercar by Sbarro based on the Ferrari 360 Modena. It appears in Asphalt 8: Airborne.
Overview
In 2008, Sbarro revived their Alcador title for a new supercar based on the Ferrari 360. It followed three Alcador roadsters which were first seen at 1995 Geneva Auto Show.
Called the Alcador GTB, the design was commissioned by the Lienhard family which owns and operates the Lista Office design firm. Their first car was based on a 512TR and called the LO-GT. In 2008 an updated version was released on the Ferrari 360 Platform and released at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show.
A 2009 version was also added to lineup painted in dark blue. This appeared with 'Alcador GTB' license plates at Geneva and was later seen with Ferrari badges and renamed the LO presumably by the Lienhard family.
The Sbarro Alcador GTB uses a 3.6L V8 from the Ferrari 360 Modena.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The Sbarro Alcador was added in the Lunar New Year Update.
The Sbarro Alcador's starting rank is 1321, MAX rank 1601, and MAX+PRO rank 1760. The car receives a Tuning Kit bonus of +53. The Alcador mainly rivals the Chevrolet Corvette C3 and Hennessey Venom GT.
Possibly owing to its outdated engine, the Sbarro Alcador has poor performance, regarded as one of the most useless cars in the entire game. Acceleration is heavily underwhelming despite having a nitro stat and nitro efficiency (7/12/17) equal to those of the Geely GC9 or Jaguar C-X75. The Alcador's top speed stat is similarly sub-par, only almost equivalent to the RUF RT 12 S and RUF CTR 3 at MAX+PRO with a Tuning Kit. Furthermore, the Alcador's biggest disadvantage is its very wide drifting radius, wider than most cars in its rank range. With this, despite what the Alcador's rank suggests, it cannot beat the McLaren 675LT, Mosler GT3, Ferrari 330 P4, or even the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe Touring Car 2014, and Lamborghini Egoista due to its many disadvantages.
The Sbarro Alcador requires 95 Sbarro Alcador BP cards. Maxing it out costs 2,366,050.
Due to its many weaknesses in its performance, the Alcador is completely useless outside of the Sbarro Sparta's Enduro Double Down event.
Availability
Prior to the Lunar New Year 2017 Update, the Sbarro Alcador had always been available for purchase since March 4, 2016. It was changed into a time-limited car, available only for purchase between February 19, 2017 and February 26, 2017.
As of April 7, 2017, the Sbarro Alcador now remains permanently in the garage for everyone. It can now be obtained through the Assembly System, requiring 95 Blueprints to be assembled. Assembly for the Alcador takes 4 hours, but can be skipped for up to 262.
