The Snowflurry Festival was a Festival event for Asphalt 8: Airborne as part of the Holiday Update. The event was available between December 24, 2018 - January 3, 2019.
The event was relaunched between February 1-11, 2019.
Description
The objective of the event is to collect Festival Coins and exchange for rewards.
The Festival Coins can be collected by the following means:
- Collecting coins on tracks in Events, Multiplayer League, Car Mastery, Career Mode and Moto Blitz. Up to 10 can be collected in each game mode per day with a limit of 9 per race. Multiplayer races had an extended limit of 35. Races in Tokyo and Transylvania were glitched and had no coins on their tracks.
- Completing Snowflurry Quests
- Purchasing or packs.
Note: Milestone rewards are not granted automatically, but have to be claimed by tapping on them and then tapping on the "claim" button which can easily be overlooked.
Any coins leftover at the end of the event are converted into credits ( 12 per coin).
Quests
Each of the 30 Snowflurry Quests has 3 levels to complete and award Festival Coins when a level is completed. Completing all 90 quests awards a total of 4,500 and a 1,000 completion bonus.
Rewards
The Snowflurry Festival has an additional three rewards of 500 for obtaining 20, 25 and 30 quest trophies (30 quest trophies for all 3 quest sets in the February 2019 revival) before the timer ends. A total of 1,500 tokens can be earned.

Milestones
Merry Snowflurry Package – Last checked: Feb 9, 2019 "Grants 30 Cards. At least 10 will be Rare or Legendary!" Common: 52.18 % | Rare: 43.84 % | Legendary: 3.98 % Availability: Festival Rewarded for spending 6,250. |
Jolly Snowflurry Package – Last checked: Mar 25, 2019 "Grants 65 Cards. At least 15 will be Rare or Legendary!" Common: 60.39 % | Rare: 33.46 % | Legendary: 6.15 % Availability: Festival Rewarded for spending 10,625. |
Festive Snowflurry Package "Grants 70 Rare and Legendary Pro cards. 2 cards of each type!" Rare: 62.86 % | Legendary: 37.14 % Availability: Festival Rewarded for spending 16,875. |
The description of the Festive Snowflurry Package could lead to the conclusion that it contains 2 of every rare and legendary type, but then it would have to contain 78 instead of the mentioned 70 cards (16 rare Class A and S parts, 2 rare and 2 legendary Tech, 6 rare and 13 legendary engines = 39 cards, 2 ⋅ 39 = 78).
If the box did not contain Tech cards, the remaining 22 rare and 13 legendary cards would be consistent with the box info (22 ⋅ 2 : 70 = 62,86 %, 13 ⋅ 2 : 70 = 37,14 %), so it is possible that the box contains 2 V12 MPI engines, but no Tech cards.
Trivia
- Similar to the Halloween Festival and Fast-Lane Festival, the Snowflurry Festival has a unique sound effect when quests rewards are claimed.
- For the Snowflurry Festival, it is the sound of several bells tolling.
- Unlike previous Festivals, the quests for the Snowflurry Festival are instead released in sets of 10 every 3 days.
Tips & Tricks
- AI drivers can collect coins and will have a blue glow if they do so. If the player knocks them down, they will get all the coins they had collected. This doesn't apply to knockdown targets in Knockdown events, where they can still collect coins but do not glow.
- Tracks with little to no path variation and short length are recommended to get as many Coins in a single race and complete quests as quickly as possible.
- It is best to use vehicles which have Season 9 races that take place on short tracks (e.g. Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning in Dubai, McLaren M14A in The London Eye and Koenigsegg One:1 or Porsche Cayman GT4 in San Diego Harbor) to achieve the "Finish First in career X times" if the player wants to grind and achieve that milestone at the same time.
- If the player has the McLaren MP4-31, its 6th race in the McLaren Legends Season can be used for the same purpose.
- The 2018 McLaren X2's Dubai race in the McLaren Legends Season, while being the fastest to complete, is not as profitable as the MP4-31's 6th race.
- The Ducati Monster 1200 and BMW S 1000 RR have races in Barcelona that are useful for doing backflips and wheelies.
- However, Moto Blitz races have an extremely low payout, thus playing Moto Blitz races after completing quests related to it are not recommended.
- The Ducati Monster 1200 and BMW S 1000 RR have races in Barcelona that are useful for doing backflips and wheelies.
- After completing a tokens quest, the player can complete any remaining quests but should only claim the trophies when the next tokens quest starts.
- This is not the case for the February 2019 rerun as the trophy requirement needs every set of quests to be fully completed.
