Average Fusion Coin value [Edit]
Feb 29, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS ASPHALT WIKI
Asphalt Wiki now displays Asphalt 8 Pro Kit Boxes with their average Fusion Coin value per card, based on statistical data. This may help players who open boxes for Fusion Coins and not for specific cards. An overview table can also be seen on Average card frequencies (Asphalt 8).

By the way, the current average value from the most common boxes is 843Fusion coins full a8 843 per card, so players should have no illusions about getting more in the long run.
50,000 cards and some new features [Edit]
Feb 28, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag STATISTICS
WikiProject Statistics has become even more precise with a sample size of more than 50,000 cards. Many thanks to our contributors!

Contributions are not restricted to Pro Kit Boxes. You can also contribute your results of many other random gameplay elements like Daily ads, Daily Tasks and Festival Special spins.

For the retro fans among you: The statistics system for Asphalt Nitro is now fully functional. You can contribute data for every box listed on the Kit Box page.

And last but not least: We cannot guarantee that there will be another statistics competition like for our first anniversary. But if so, it will count the contributions since February 1, 2020. Therefore we have split the list on the Contributors page so you can see your contributions before and after the anniversary.
Fusion Boxes and Daily Kit Box removed from list of most common boxes [Edit]
Jan 28, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
As the Fusion Boxes and the Daily Kit Box are no longer availabe, they have been removed from Asphalt Wiki's list of most common boxes. The Daily Kit Box has been replaced with the revived Parts Box. These changes have effects on all calculations on Asphalt Wiki where aggregated drop rates are displayed, for example on our front page.

The mini tables on Event pages still list the old boxes as players may still have them in their inventory.

Jan 14, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag STATISTICS
It's just two months since the 30,000 cards milestone, and now you players have already helped us reach a new one! And as a birthday is something special, we have something special for you, too: The top ten data contributors will receive a total of 1000000Fusion coins full a8 1,000,000 and 10000A8 tokens full 10,000 that will be distributed according to the number of cards/ads each player has contributed! Details can be found on the Contributors page. Thanks again for your work, and thanks to Pepper from Gameloft who made this possible.
Not recommended: Super Fusion Box [Edit]
Dec 22, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
It is strongly recommended not to buy the new Super Fusion Box. It is expensive, mediocre in almost every aspect and a waste of the new Fusion Coins which are much more important for pro upgrades. Although the box has a decent Engine drop rate, it grants no i3 and no V12 MPI Engines, no Advanced Tech and microscopic doses of Mid-Tech. As known from other boxes, the distribution of Part cards is unbalanced and has a clear focus on Tires and Suspension. See the box page for details.

Nov 15, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag STATISTICS
A big thank you to all the players who contribute to WikiProject Statistics! You have made Asphalt Wiki the largest and most precise statistical database for Asphalt in the world!
Box news: Boxes on sale and old friends [Edit]
Oct 12, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
– The Enhanced Split Box is recommended because of its good price and content.
– The drop rate of common cards in the B-Class Parts Special Offer has been reduced by around 10 %. As this also means that the drop rate of (common) B-Class Parts is reduced, this box is even less recommended than before. Players should only buy it as a last resort.
– Before blueprints are completely removed from the game: Players who still have Compact Shuffle Boxes and Compact Split Boxes in their inventory should know that these boxes still grant (common) blueprints. Those who are missing a few blueprints for some vehicles may want to open these boxes now.
Important! Advanced BP Box grants all Blueprints again! [Edit]
Sep 25, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
Not announced by Gameloft, the last update has removed the restrictions for the Advanced BP Box. Players are strongly advised to open their Advanced BP Boxes before the next updates turn the remaining BP vehicles into Token ones—especially if they only need a few more cards to assemble them. As some former Blueprint vehicles are already “out of the pool”, the probability of getting a desired Blueprint has even increased.
V8 drop rate study released [Edit]
Sep 25, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
The V8 drop rate study is finished and all data has been evaluated. The study deals with some of the most discussed questions among players:
1. Is there a “golden rule” that players have to keep a certain number of specific cards they need most?
2. Does the game decrease drop rates for needed cards during events?
3. Are drop rates dependent on the vehicles in a player's garage?
4. Does the game withhold cards for recently upgraded vehicles?
Find the answers on the study page!
Festival Coin Pack not fair [Edit]
Sep 22, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
Players who are planning with expected amounts of Festival Coins granted by the Festival Coin Pack should be aware that the box is not fair. The expected value of a fair box would be 7 Coins per box, but the real outcome is much less. See the box page for details.
Recommended: Enhanced Split Box [Edit]
Sep 14, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
The Enhanced Split Box which is currently being offered has a good price (25A8 tokens full 25 per card), fixed drop rates, clear rules and good content: Parts of the granted cards come in pairs, so it is a good opportunity to even get two desired cards at once. Besides, it is one of the very few boxes that still grant bike-specific cards after the 2019 Spring Update. See the box article for details.
Not recommended: Engine Special-Offer Box [Edit]
Sep 10, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
Caution: The Engine Special-Offer Box which is currently offered is not an engine box. Despite its outer appearance, it is a random box with only three guaranteed engines. Besides, the price has nearly doubled and the drop rate of legendary cards has been reduced. There are many good ways to spend tokens, but definitely not this box.
V12 MPI and i3 Engines in more boxes [Edit]
Sep 7, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
The Finish Line Box and the Daily Kit Box now also grant V12 MPI and i3 Engines. See Sixth Anniversary Mini Update for more Pro Kit Box changes.
Engine Boxes now also grant V12 MPI Engines [Edit]
Sep 6, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
One of our WikiProject Statistics data contributors has just confirmed it: Engine Boxes now also grant V12 MPI Engines.
Engine Boxes now grant i3 Engines [Edit]
Sep 5, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 STATISTICS
The drop rates of Engine Boxes have changed. The good news: They now grant i3 Engines. The bad news: They now grant less legendary cards. It is unclear if Engine Boxes now also grant V12 MPI Engines.
