Team Pursuit is a 5v3 Multiplayer race mode introduced in the Asphalt Legends Unite Expansion Update. This mode is derived from Asphalt 9's Takedown Mode.

Syndicate Team[]

The Syndicate Team's main objective is to dodge cars from the Security Team, as the Security Team's cars cannot be knocked down. Each player has two lives. Wrecking, getting knocked down by the Security Team member(s), and going off the track will result in losing one live. Losing the remaining one will result in an elimination and that member is switched to a spectator mode, until the end of the race or that member exiting the match.

There is a counter at the upper right corner of the screen that shows how many times the Security Team members knocked down members from the Syndicate Team members. Each time a player from the Syndicate Team is knocked down, the counter will increase by one, and after the counter hit 5 times, the Syndicate Team will automatically lose the match.

The Syndicate Team is also considered losing the match if all members are eliminated by means other than being knocked down by Security Team members.

However, if at least one Syndicate Team member managed to run out the timer while having less than 5 knockdowns and/or other members losing their two lives only by either wrecking or going off the track, the whole team will win the match.

Security Team[]

The Security Team's main goal is to knock down Syndicate Team members 5 times. Knocking down a Syndicate Team member in less than 30 seconds will increase the timer by 10 seconds, and knocking down Syndicate Team members for a total of 5 times will automatically end the race, resulting in the whole team will win the match.

However, if the timer runs out and the Security Team knocks down Syndicate Team members less than 5 times, the team will lose the match.

Cars[]

A Team Pursuit event will consist of five cars that the player can choose from. These cars are free try, regulated to the same or similar rank as the others and can either be all cars in one class or, several cars in one class and several cars in a higher class.

Each race will consume one fuel, regardless of which team the player is designated in.
