  • Hi Guy,

On page Mercedes-Benz_SLS_AMG_Electric_Drive_(upgrades)#Pro_Kit_Formulas, I added the new template, but Level 2 is not filled. Is that normal?

Another problem is that the number of parts is 3, not 15.

    • Yes, that's normal. Here's from the documentation (see {{Pro upgrades table v4.2 a8}}):

"Prices in Credits as well as Fusion Coin prices for tables with other than 5 or 10 levels are not extrapolated. In this case, the sum is built from the existing values without the missing ones."'

When I wrote the template, I already had all vehicles with less than 5 pro upgrade levels at max pro so I could never verify if the progression works here, too. That's why you have to fill in the values manually.

The 15 is, well, a real bug because of my laziness. I thought: "Hey, now that all vehicles have the same upgrade system, I don't have to build the sum of 500 parameters any more, it's always 15!" So I hard wired it. Which was a mistake...

Darn, I'll have to refill it with all the parameters! :D

    • But wait... Do you have the Benz below pro so you can verify if it's true that it needs 1 Part for level 1 and 2 Parts for level 2?

Other cars perhaps with 3 or 4 levels? I'm still thinking if we should simply build the sum of 1 + 2 + 3 ... instead of real parameters as we know that it's always 1, 2, 3 ...

    • Yes, I have the SLS Electric (2 levels) at MAX-0000 and the Scion FR-S (3 levels) at 1111-0010. I can only confirm that the first levels need only 1 Common Part. I cannot scroll to Drivetrain for the FR-S because it's not MAXed. But it seems logical that they applied the same reasoning, so it only needs 2 cards for level 2, then 3 cards for level 3.

I'm not sure I understood your point about the sum vs real parameters. EDIT: I understood now. Yes, I'm sure you can use the sum.

Ask me if you need some information that I can give.

    • Sum bug is fixed.

"Ask me if you need some information that I can give."

Yes, if you are willing to sacrifice Fusion coins full a8 9,000 in the name of science, you could upgrade one section of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive and see if the price for level 2 is Fusion coins full a8 18,000. :-)

If so, I might expand {{Extrapolate pro upgrade price a8}} to also handle less than 5 levels so every table on Asphalt Wiki will have autofill.

    • Mercedes-SLS-Electric-Drive-PRO-Level-2

Mercedes SLS Electric Drive PRO Level 2 is 18,000 FuC

I owe you 75,000 FuCs for yesterday's car hunt. :)

    • Now 66,000. :D

    • Besides, I saw that level 2 being 2 times level 1 could also be the progression of a 10-level vehicle (see price progression table on {{Extrapolate pro upgrade price a8}}).

We could only be sure if we had a level 3 upgrade price of a 3- or 4-level vehicle:

      • If it's 2.5 times level 1, it follows column 1;
      • if it's 3 times level 1, it follows column 2.

So I decided to put an update of the template on hold. We have to manually fill in the data of those few cars with less than 5 levels.

    • Hi,

Please take a look at Fifteenth_Anniversary_Update#comm-193901. It seems they changed the price progression for Level 3 on 5-level vehicles.

    • I checked a few of my non-pro cars 5-level cars. Level 3 seems to be 3 times level 1 like before.

I posted a comment under the discussion asking for screenhots.

      I A8 icon max-ed my Scion FR-S (upgrades) and I can attest that Level 3 is 3 times level 1 :

On 3-level car, cost of PRO upgrade level 3 is 3 times level 1.

    • So can we assume the standard scheme for cars with less than five levels or not? Your Scion seems to say yes. Are there screenshots of cars contradicting to this?

        Loading editor
    • Yes I think it's safe to assume all 3-level cars have the same progression.
