The Tramontana XTR has a fast acceleration due to its high-power nitro; in fact, it is among one of the fastest accelerations in the game, matching those of the Rimac Concept One, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, Chrysler ME412, and Savage Rivale GTR. It also has a very good handling stat, albeit inferior to that of the Savage Rivale GTR and Volkswagen W12. The top speed is very similar to the Jaguar C-X75 (when maxed out, 226.4 mph - 364.4 km/h). However, the XTR suffers from nitro inefficiency, as its nitro boost speed is 23.1~34.6 mph (same as the Audi R8 e-tron, Renault CLIO R.S. 200 EDC, and Rimac Concept One). Fortunately, it doesn't suffer from having a very short nitro duration like with the RUF RT 12 S. The XTR should be avoided for use on long tracks due to its low top speed, especially Monaco where there are no ramps to allow for quick nitro recharging via Flat Spins or Barrel Rolls. |

The Tramontana XTR is a high-performance version of the Tramontana sports car in the Asphalt series. The Tramontana XTR is one of the few vehicles in Asphalt 8: Airborne to seat up to the driver.
Overview
- Tramontana official website
The Tramontana XTR has a handbuilt body design and a 888 bhp Mercedes-Benz-sourced twin turbocharged V12 engine coupled with a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. The Tramontana XTR appears to seat only the driver, which would make it one of the few vehicles in the Asphalt series that are capable of seating only the driver. Some Tramontana cars seat up to two people, the driver and the passenger, it is for a few cars. Most of the Tramontana cars seat up to the driver and most of the Tramontana cars use a Mercedes-Benz-sourced twin turbocharged V12 engine coupled with a rear-mid engine, rear-wheel-drive layout.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The Tramontana XTR is one of the 11 new cars introduced in the Winter update. It is briefly seen at the end of the Winter update trailer, where it is racing on the new Sector 8 track. It is the second most powerful Class A car, with a starting rank of 1504, a maximum rank of 1627, and a final rank of 1711; it only ranks lower than the Ferrari 330 P4. It is the final car to have a cup in the Winter Update. The Tramontana XTR's color options are shared with most of the Mercedes-Benz cars in this game, but not in real life.
The Tramontana XTR costs 5,000 Tokens to purchase and 1,814,500 to max out, same as the Nissan GT-R NISMO.
The Tramontana XTR qualifies for only one event of its own:
- Race 89 of Season 9 — a single-lap Classic event set in Sector 8 Reverse. This event requires a maxed out Tramontana XTR in order to participate.
The Tramontana XTR, Lucra L148, Pagani Zonda R and the Pagani Huayra are the cars that use a Mercedes-Benz engine in the Asphalt series, not just Asphalt 8: Airborne.
