it's finally time. the series comes to an end.
this is pretty much going to be my most accurate history out of all the classes. hopefully i won't miss any cars or bikes. this is as of the Hot Wheels update.
let's jump right into it.
Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning ( original king of Asphalt)[]
time has not been kind to the Silver Lightning. in days of old, when multiplayer tuning wasn't a thing, the Vulcan wasn't in the game and there were only 47 cars, the Silver Lightning was a very feared beast. now, strangely, it's an unfortunate starter car with an unfortunate farming race, in a time where multiplayer-tuned cars are commonly seen and the Aston Martin Vulcan reigns supreme. things aren't all bad, though, because this car is the third fastest Mercedes in the game and it's still viable to this day. it's got many races where it's viable and it's great for beginners. but i suggest the Veneno before this car, just to learn the S class better. just saying.
W Motors Lykan Hypersport ( queen of Asphalt)[]
introduced in The Great Wall update, the W Motors Lykan Hypersport became the queen of Asphalt and dethroned the Silver Lightning. despite the fake speed, this car is very viable and it's still worth it to this day. too bad you won't experience it, though, because for new players, after November 13th of 2017, the Lykan Hypersport became a token car. still worth the tokens, though.
SSC Tuatara (king of Asphalt)[]
introduced in the fuel update and named after the Tuatara lizard, the SSC Tuatara crawled its way to the throne room -see what i did there?- and dethroned the Lykan Hypersport. another car that has fake speed, but still viable to this day, as a psuedo king of Asphalt, the SSC Tuatara became really awesome, even for beginners. good handling, good acceleration, almost perfect nitro duration -no pun intended- and a good top speed. then again, we got more kings that came after it.
Chrysler ME412 (queen of nitro-reliant cars)[]
what was once known as the best nitro-reliant car in the game, now became a collector's item. still, this car is really good to this day. its nitro duration is top-notch, but not the best. but even then, it's still worth your time, if you want to try something different. it's also cool-looking.
Hennessey Venom GT (king of Asphalt)[]
next up is the Hennessey Venom GT. just like the Tuatara it also has fake speed, but it's faster than the Tuatara. however, after many updates, it got dethroned by another king, but the next car we'll talk about was the car that accompanied this car into greatness.
SSC Ultimate Aero XT (second king of Asphalt)[]
introduced in the Dubai update and known as one of the most forgotten cars in Asphalt, the SSC Ultimate Aero became the second king of Asphalt, alongside the Hennessey Venom GT. however, after that update, a lot of Asphalt players forgot that this car even existed. it's now another collector's item, but it's still cool-looking.
Lamborghini Huracan (queen of difficulty)[]
as the first R&D car, the Huracan was so hard that its R&D would make you ragequit it. to this day, the Huracan has the hardest event in the entire game, but now it's no longer difficult to get, since we now have the Moto Blitz to get its blueprints. and speaking of blueprints, it's the hardest blueprint car to get, as it's blueprints required to assemble comes to a whopping 145 blueprints. yeah. huge waste of space, unless you got a huge storage space and unless you want the bragging rights for it.
Lamborghini Egoista (king of Asphalt and acceleration)[]
yep. this car was another king of Asphalt back then. and it also used to have the best acceleration in the game. i'm not kidding. it really did have the best acceleration in the game. its R&D was 1000 times easier than the Huracan, showing how Gameloft learned from their mistakes, when they first introduced R&Ds in the game. it's still good, but there are better cars out there.
Koenigsegg One:1 (queen of Asphalt)[]
there is no doubt that the One:1 was awesome. despite having a worse fake speed than the Agera R, the One:1 became a new queen, once introduced. good handling nitro and acceleration. but despite all this, it didn't stand a chance against the next car that no longer exists, for those who don't have it.
9FF GT9 VMAX (king of Asphalt)[]
this car became the new king and dethroned the One:1 once it was introduced. but after the Porsche update, this car, alongside the Porsche look-alikes, were removed from the game, due to the fact that we now have the real deals. but if you have it, alongside the RUFs and the Rinspeed Zazen, Asphalt 8 is the only game that has the Porsche look-alikes and the real deals in one game. pretty cool, if i may say so myself.
Ferrari Enzo Ferrari (king of drifting and Ferraris)[]
named after the founder of Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari himself, the Enzo Ferrari is really awesome, when it comes to drifting. it was the king of Tokyo drifting in the game. but now, it became the second best when it comes to drifting. BUT it's still the fastest Ferrari in the game, unless Gameloft is like: "SIKE! we're adding another Ferrari!" and add the Ferrari FXX K and make IT the fastest Ferrari in the game. that would be hillarious.
Cadillac 16 Concept (queen of trolling)[]
also known as "the boat" for obvious reasons, the Cadillac 16 Concept is really bad, in terms of performance. however, it's useful for one thing: trolling other players in multiplayer. because of its wide body and durability, "the boat" can survive crashes from the side and troll for days on end. i guess it's worth the 1600 licenses, after all.
Devel Sixteen Prototype ( king of Asphalt on long tracks)[]
introduced in the Elite Cars update, the Devel Sixteen Prototype became the best car for long tracks. this car is a rocket, but because of its terrible handling, it's uncontrollable too. it's still worth your time, considering that it's an Elite car AND can go super fast on straight-forward tracks.
Nanoflowcell QUANT FE (second king of trollng)[]
also known as "the boat 2.0", the QUANT FE becaome the second king of trolling for the same reasons "the boat" became the queen of trolling, with the difference that its acceleration was good. this car also trolls for days, but it trolls less, because of its Elite status.
TRION NEMESIS (king of Asphalt)[]
this car became the king of Asphalt and it was amazing back then. it survived a full year of updates, until it got DESTROYED by the Vulcan. its acceleration was the best in the game and despite its fake top speed, this car was awesome. but not anymore, since there are many cars that kill it.
W Motors Fenyr Supersport (king of drifting)[]
this car is still the king of Tokyo drifting in this game. it's a very good all-around car and it's actually pretty good. being capable of potential, it's one of the cars that are worth your time, because of its mastery AND its stats. also, it's one of the coolest cars in the entire game.
Lamborghini Aventador SV (king of Lamborghinis)[]
this Lambo became the fastest Lamborghini in the game and is able to compete with the Vulcan on long tracks. despite its wide drift radius, the Aventador SuperVeloce is still good, as a Vulcan alternative. think of this as the regular Aventador, but with upgraded stats, downgraded drifting, cooler design and Eilte status.
Aston Martin Vulcan (queen of Asphalt)[]
oh, boy................... this car. after a full year of updates, the Vulcan has survived many potential killers. it survived the Hussarya GT, it survived the Huayra BC, it survived the Corvette Grand Sport and many more. this car has the acceleration of the Egoista, the speed of a Camaro, the drifting of the Fenyr and the nitro duration of the P1. you put those in one car and you get the unbeatable queen of Asphalt for almost a year. and it's still the best car in the game. it's worth the 14.250 tokens, but it will take a long way to live the dream.
McLaren MP4-31 (queen of McLarens and farming)[]
this Formula 1 car is actually more awesome than some people might say. despite the fact that it only performs best at fully PRO, it's still somehow viable. this car performs best when triple boosted, because unlike the other Formula 1 cars, this one has a bad nitro duration. it's the best McLaren in the game, no doubt. with a bit of skill, you can beat MP4-25s and Vulcans with this one. but hey. once you fully PRO it, greatest farming car in the game........... only if you know what you're doing, that is.
Porsche 918 Spyder with Weissach Package (king of Porsches)[]
introduced in the Porsche update, this car is the best Porsche in the game. while its EDD was easy for me, this car was worth it, since it's a Vulcan alternative. as of the Motorcycles update, this car got a buffed handling, making it easier and more fun to drive. but that drives me to this point. the only reason the Porsches weren't introduced well, because of the Cayman GT4 incident in the game............... IS THAT SOMEONE IN GAMELOFT JUST HATES PORSCHE! THAT HAS TO BE IT! and i bet they sit next to the guy that hates the Impala and the guy that used to hate the MP4-31, which isn't as bad as it used to be. but........... still. the 959 is good at low-rank. the 911 GT3 RS has a good mastery. the Cayman GT4 has its own season 9 race as its farming race. the 918 is good, even if it's not the king of the game. so, come on, guys. give the Porsches some love.
Suzuki Hayabusa (original king of Motorcycles)[]
introduced in the Motorcycles update, the Hayabusa became the fastest bike in the game. when i first saw it in the pictures, i wanted it SO BADLY after that, because it's my favorite bike in this game. now, the execution of the bikes could've been better, but this one is just amazing, if tuned correctly. despite the problems the bikes have -like i said before, their execution could've been better-, this one is one of the bikes that stand out the most, alongside the Ducati Monster 1200, the BMW S 1000 RR and the Suzuki GSX-R750. still awesome to this day.
Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR my2017 ( queen of motorcycles)[]
this bike was originally going to be the queen of motorcycles in the game, in the Munich update. but its R&D was postponed twice............................ *sighs* listen. i understand that you wanted to revive the old R&Ds before releasing this bike. but................... TWO UPDATES IN A ROW?! YOU THINK THAT'S ENOUGH, GUYS?! i'm sorry. i just couldn't get over the fact that Gameloft would postpone its R&D twice, after reviving one of the old R&D on their respective updates. i just hope it will be released soon enough.
Pagani Huayra BC (S class king of farming)[]
at least we're ending this on a bright note. the Huayra BC became the S class king of farming after its introduction in the Hot Wheels update. according to TheHawtDawg1, this car has great stats, but the only thing that keeps it from being the ultimate king of the game is its top speed. but that doesn't mean it's not useful. its mastery challenge 15 is similar to the 675LT's mastery challenge 15, in terms of farming. it's also a great change of scenery, if you're tired of farming with the 675LT. also, this car is an upgrade of the regular Pagani Huayra.
fun fact: this car was named after the late Benny Caiola, a close friend of Horacio Pagani and the first customer of the car manufacturer itself. BOOM! how's THAT for my research?!
