    Asphalt 9: The Nitro Stat

    November 17, 2018 by ThUnDeR1337

Hi! I've recently noticed some discussion about the Nitro stat in Asphalt 9 and what it does. It seems to be common knowledge that the Nitro stat is nitro efficiency—how long your nitro lasts per bar. But this isn't actually the case.

Most people know this already, but just in case you don't, here you go. Nitro in A8 has multiple stages that get faster and faster, and the Nitro stat adds more speed to your nitro (i.e. the Renault DeZir has a faster nitro than the AC 378 GT, because of a higher Nitro stat). However, in A9, Nitro simply accelerates the car to a set top speed (we'll call this Max Nitro Speed, MNS) at every stage, and the efficiency changes per stage. i.e. shockwave will boost you to MNS faster than perfect nitro, however, it w…

Hi! I've unlocked the Lotus Elise Sprint 220 and 2-starred it! I'll be going over the stats of the car, and how it performed when I drove it.

Unlocking this car was rather easy, it just required beating 45 seconds over and over again in any D-class car in Subterranean Dash, or beating 43 seconds with a Cayman/beating 42 seconds with a Shelby. Beating either of these times is impossibly difficult, even with a maxed vehicle of either kind. So I stuck with beating the 45 second mark, and paired with finding a lucky drop in the Legend Store(btw, it's 50,000 credits per Lotus BP) was able to 2-star the Lotus quite quickly.

The stats of the Lotus Elise Sprint 220 are similar to the Mclaren MP4/8 from Asphalt 8. Extremely high stats in all departme…

Hello! Welcome to my comparison of A8 and A9. I'll be going over the game controls, cars, economy, and whatever else comes to mind. Let's get started!

The controls of A9 are definitely less fast paced as A8. A8 is a more reflex-based, twitchy game compared to A9, which feels more liquid and slow. A9 is definitely more friendly to newer players in the controls department, with the TouchDrive setting(allowing less skilled/unskilled players to be competitive in multiplayer and career). The nitro systems in A8 are based on keeping them at purple, while in A9, it's less about perfection, it's more about just keeping your speed, coasting, and boosting on straights.

The economy of A9 depends even more highly on lootboxing and token spending(unless…

Hi! I've come back for a day. I left mainly because of high toxicity and whining from many players (although, I do admit that I was guilty of being toxic as well). Let's try to stop all (or most of) the toxicity in this Wiki.

First of all, people are mean and selfish. You can't stop people from using broken cars in MP. It's just a fact. In fact, there are many R8 SE drivers on this wiki, right now. You can't talk them out of it, and they'll keep driving their OP cars until the end of time. However, IF you own an OP car and use it in MP, please note that you have lost the ability to complain about brokenness in MP (hackers excluded). There is NO REASON for someone who uses a powerful car to complain about MP being stuffed with other powerful …
