To contrast to my "Everything Wrong With Asphalt 8" post, I decided to make an "Everything Wrong With Asphalt 7 post. This is to show how much of a downturn Asphalt 8 took after 7. Anything I missed, please tell me.
There's no real need for categories here because all of this is from my own opinion. I have not gotten enough community feedback to make a "General Consensus" category or a "WTF" category.
- Cars in each Tier are not balanced
- AIs are not competitive, even in stock cars (sort of)
- Handling is a bit wonky over jumps and bumps
- Some cars are ludicrously expensive (Sesto Elemento... I'm looking at you)
- Sponsors in Multiplayer make it unbalanced, but they fixed that with an option to turn them off
- Latecomers to the game like me cannot get any of the Special Event cars
- It's a bit of a grind to fully upgrade cars, but a fun grind so... this isn't really a problem (ish)
- Car lottery shreds your money very quickly
And I think that's about it! Look at the difference in length! Gameloft... you should listen...
