VIP Membership

The VIP Membership is a game element of Asphalt 8: Airborne introduced in the 2025 Spring Update.

Overview[]

VIP Membership is accessible via the Profile section, on a tab with a same name that is in the top left of the screen.

Like the previously introduced VIP System, the VIP Membership has a number of similarities, such as

15 Levels of progression;
additional benefits;
a special currency, in the case of VIP Membership, called " VIP Coins".

Unlike VIP System, VIP Membership introduced the following changes:

Additional benefits are also applied to stat boost, booster duration increase, and a bonus of the amount of currency that can be obtained in a specific event. These benefits are increment, meaning when the player reached a new VIP Level, previous benefits are also carried over.
VIP Coins are not exclusive to in-app purchases, meaning the player can obtain VIP Coins by claiming for free daily. However, the player can only claim once per day.
- Each day the player logs into the game and claim the free daily coins, the amount of coins that can be claimed on the next day is increased. This is called a "Streak". If the player fail to claim the daily coins during a Streak, then the number of coins will be reset. By default, the number of coins that can be obtained for free daily is started at 50.
- The amount of VIP Coins in each Level is not increment, meaning it will not carry over when the player reached the next Level.
A new subscription, called "Elite Pass", was introduced. By purchasing this subscription, the player will have access to the following benefits for 30 days:
- Exclusive 20% discount on on-going Racing Pass, Car Hunt and Treasure Rush offers;
- Exclusive Premium rewards in Racing Pass events (i.e. Premium rewards are different compare to the ones without Elite Pass);
- 100 Bonus daily login VIP coins, up to 3000 total over 30 days;
- Access to exclusive Time-limited events, such as: Fusion Coins Racing Event, VIP Coins Racing Event. These events give corresponding rewards based on Leaderboard Position (%) and are available:
  - Every Tuesday and Saturday for a duration of 1 day for the Fusion Coins Racing Event, with Alps as the featured track.
  - Every Wednesday and Saturday for a duration of 1 day for the VIP Coins Racing Event, with Test Site. Omega as the featured track.

VIP Coin Obtainment Methods[]

Each bundle of VIP coins is a one-time purchase. VIP Level 13 can be reached by purchasing all VIP coin bundles, which costs approximately $115. After that, no more coins can be purchased, aside from the Elite Pass's 100 Daily Coins. This is to prevent the player from buying more than half in order to reach VIP Level 15. This also means that all players will have to spend time to reach level 15.

Note: only on March 11, 2025 - the day this system was introduced - the VIP Coins Bundles weren't a one-time purchase, so a total of around $230 was needed to reach VIP Level 15. This was patched on March 12, 2025.
