Versus, also known as Duel, is a one-on-one race in the Asphalt series. It appears in Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, Asphalt 8: Airborne, and Asphalt Nitro.
Overview
Versus is exactly the same as Classic/Normal Race, except that the player faces off against just one racer using a different car. Like with Classic, traffic is present in this mode (except if the player races in French Guiana or does the race in Quick Solo Race).
It is worth noting that Leader Knockdowns are the most common in this mode.
Winning + Stars
Finishing a Versus event in 1st place grants 3 stars. Finishing 2nd doesn't award any other stars. Note that Versus is the only race type in which all 5 stars cannot be obtained in one go. Therefore, the player must win the Versus event once with each car.
Achievement
Winning a Versus event for the first time awards the Mano a Mano achievement.
