The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI is a concept car made by Volkswagen before the production of the seventh generation Volkswagen Golf GTI. Another concept car is based on the Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI, the Volkswagen GTI Roadster are both the concept cars made by Volkswagen. The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI is the replacement of the Volkswagen Golf GTI (Typ 5K). The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI's design is based on the Volkswagen Golf GTI (Typ 5G). The Volkswagen Golf GTI (Typ 5G) shares its platform with the Audi S3 Mk3 and the SEAT Léon Cupra Mk3 and it uses a Volkswagen engine.

The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbocharged TSI VR6. The engine develops 496 and 413 between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. Power is channeled to all four wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

The Vision GTI uses ceramic brake discs, with the front ones being 380 mm in diameter and the rear ones being 356 mm. The ceramic brake discs and red-painted brake callipers shine through the spokes of the 20-inch alloy wheels, which have been redesigned from the original Golf GTI.

The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI was added in the Tenerife Update as a Class C car. It is the second Volkswagen car added to the game, after the Volkswagen W12.

:Discover the true definition of power with the impressive ‪Volkswagen‬ Golf Design Vision GTI. This concept car is able to unleash a massive total of 503 horsepower, and to reach 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Consistently ranked at the top of the C Class, the performance and sporty look of the Design Vision GTI will easily convince every sports-car lover.
+
The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI has a high starting rank of 1284 (shared with the Audi R8 LMS Ultra due to both cars having the same starting top speed and nitro stats), a MAX rank of 1436, and a MAX+PRO rank of 1539. The Golf receives +37 from Tuning Kits.

The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI is a nitro-focused car and has very similar acceleration to the Felino cB7. Weighing 3450, the Golf doesn't jump too high when taking ramps, but has only average handling and drifting capabilites. Being a nitro-focused car, the Golf not only has low nitro efficiency, at 9/14/19, but also has a really low top speed stat. With all of these performance drawbacks combined, the Golf cannot beat the Felino cB7 or Lamborghini Miura, as these cars have much better overall stats while also having much better nitro efficiency. With the Golf having a low top speed stat, it loses a lot of speed when it runs out of nitro, which can pose a very serious problem on a track like Tokyo.
The Vokswagen Golf Design Vision GTI was relased during the Tenerife update in June 2015. Its main rival was the Felino cB7, the C class king back then. The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI has a stock rank of 1294, a MAX rank of 1436 and a MAX/PRO rank of 1539. The Tuning Kit bonus adds 37 points, so the final rank of the VW Golf is 1576. Released as the second highest-ranked C Class car at its release on August 2nd, only behind the AC 378 GT Z, the Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI is the most expensive car for its rank and also the least effective car bought by tokens.

Being a hatchback, despite its powerful V6 engine putting over 503hp, the Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI starts with a acceleration of 3.90s. Top Speed of this car is good at start, at 300km/h, but falls short with its high starting rank and low upgrade effects. The handling, being a Front-engined Four-Wheel drive, does suffer from its weight like the Ford Focus RS. Nitro of this car is very powerful; it helps its acceleration keep up with the Felino cB7. However, the duration of its nitro cannot help, being as short as the Camaro Z/28. This owes to the fact that the Golf GTI shares its nitro boost with the Camaro Z/28.
+
The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI currently costs 2,200 to purchase, 1,403,050 to max out, and 806,000 for Pro Kits. It requires 11 of each Class C Parts card, 4 V6 Engine cards, 10 Initial Tech cards, 10 Early Tech cards, and 8 Mid-Tech cards. Prior to the Elite Cars Update, the Golf was priced at 2,275. The Golf can also be obtained through the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport's Enduro Double Down event by banking 35,000; if the player already has the Golf, 150,000 will be rewarded instead.

This car is nearly useless nowdays. It only appears in only one collection, and it has no use in Multiplayer, or Time-Limited Events. We can say this is only a collectors car, being a very expensive C class car (specially its buy cost). There are much better and cheaper alternatives to this car, like the Lamborghini Miura, Toyota Supra or the M14A. On the other hand, the Mitsubishi Eclipse and Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7, while being more expensive than the Golf GTI (albeit by a small extent), have better overall performances than the Golf GTI.
+
The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI is nothing more than a collector's item, as despite having a higher MAX+PRO rank than the Lamborghini Miura and Felino cB7, the Golf is incapable of competing with either car due to them having superior overall stats while also being cheaper to upgrade. The Golf is also not recommended for Events or Multiplayer; attempting to use it in Multiplayer will most likely place it at the mercy of the TVR Sagaris, MP4/8, and even the Aston Martin Vulcan, none of which the Golf can compete with. The only use left for the Golf is the Hot Summer collection.

The Volkswagen Golf Design Vision GTI costs 2,200 and 1,403,050 to max out. It was also given out as a reward for banking in 35,000 Enduro Points during the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport's Enduro Double Down event.
