Trivia[]

  • Due to an accidental leak happened on the Microsoft Store page of Asphalt 9, the Patch Notes for this update were released through videos from different Content Creators of the Asphalt Community rather than through the Asphalt 9 Website.[3]
    • It is also the first time the Patch Notes were released on a weekend.
  • The Asphalt 9 model of the FV Frangivento Asfanè was initially leaked on January 17, 2024, through a post by FV Frangivento on Instagram, when the brand revealed the color scheme of the car.[1]
    • According to the comments on the post, the brand also confirmed that the car is also going to be added to Asphalt 8: Airborne in the future.
    • A prototype of the FV Frangivento Asfanè DieciDieci (in-game variant) competed in the 39th Pedavena Croce D’aune in 2023, an annual hill-climb event that takes place in the Croce D-Aune mountain pass in the Italian Dolomites. Asphalt 9: Legends[4] sponsored the car driven by FV Frangivento designer, Giorgio Pirolo, in the event.[5][6]
      • There was an accident in which Pirolo crashed the Asfanè after failing to take the hairpin turn. No injuries at the incident were repoted.[7]
  • Overclock improvements have initially been mentioned in the March Roadmap.[8]
  • It's the first update that was released after the announcement of Asphalt Legends Unite.
    • It's also the first update that all Grand Prix cars released within the update only got one decal each as a reward.
      • However, as from what was seen on the Grand Prix screen from the Seasonal Events tab, the Aston Martin Vantage V12 2022 was seen with a #2 decal, which indicated that the car had other decals for higher positions rather than #3, all of which weren't released.
  • With the inclusion of the Aston Martin Vantage V12 2022, Aston Martin became the second brand in Asphalt 9 to have cars in all classes after Lamborghini.
