The wheels of a vehicle can be customized in Asphalt 9: Legends and Asphalt Street Storm Racing. Like all customizations, wheels are purely aesthetic and do not affect performance.
Asphalt 9: Legends[]
In Asphalt 9, the tires and the rims of many vehicles can be customized.

Asphalt Street Storm Racing[]
Wheels in Asphalt Street Storm Racing are treated as items that can be bought with Cash. Although there is an extra inventory section for wheels, they cannot be stored but only equipped directly. Also, it is rather the rims than the whole wheels that can be customized.
Changing wheels always costs Cash.
Overview[]
There are four rims that can cost the same or different amounts of Cash, depending on the vehicle.
- Although the game lists all four rims as generic, there is always one with a light grey icon for the default rims the vehicle comes equipped with in the shop. These are actually not generic but specific for the respective vehicle.
- The other three rims are truly generic and can be applied to almost every vehicle (except, for example, the Alpine Celebration Concept which cannot be customized at all).
The following tables therefore distinguish between specific and generic rims.
Rims do not have special names, but in the internal game files they are denoted with "PT", followed by a number. Although the three generic rims are always the same, they have different numbers for each vehicle, so they are simply named "Wheels I", "Wheels II" and "Wheels III" on Asphalt Wiki.
The examples in the following tables are shown on a BMW M2 Coupé, with PT 70260 being the car's specific detault rim.
